Still fucking expensive, and the average per hour of 1.5 hour is actually more than 1 hour. 55 + 27.5 = 82.5, they charge 83.

Shouldn't taking longer duration cheaper?

Once they price so high, they will have a lot of directly competitors.
The one main reason I used to like Oriental is the girls give pretty good massage in a comfortable environment for a very competitive price.

I think non-promotional prices are just a marketing gimmick to make the current prices more appealing. I don't see Oriental surviving if they really charge $120 for 90 mins. I thought the old rates were about $62 for 90 mins?

Bro, I think that there is absolutely no need to compare rates because we are talking about 3 different joints situated at different areas. Besides different rental, other aspects such as staffs salaries, cost of reno, marketing costs etc are also totally different. There is also a G-Spa that charges higher entrance fee but is also doing well. I am a regular at both the dynasties, and I go there because I am comfortable with the service and massage standards. It does not really bother me if the actual price is a gimmic or what. Even if it is $55 per hour, i would still go, although good for us the current promotional rates of $50/hr at Tang Dynasty and $48/hr at Han dynasty is still ongoing. .As long as I find that the current discounted rate is reasonable, I will continue to give my support. I really do think that $55 per hour of good solid massage be it at oriental tcm at club street, eng hoon street or any other joints where the service and massage standards is excellent is definitely ok and reasonable. This is just my personal thoughts. No offenve to any bro who disagrees with me.

A meal of chatterbox chicken rice cost $30 or thereabouts, and the restaurant is doing ever so well all these years. I guess it is more about how each shop goes about doing their own way of business. It just shows that even at such high price, business can be better than a lot of the other $3 per plate places. I think what is the most important is the service and the standard of massage, afterall it is clean joints we are talking about and most go to clean joints solely for the purpose of good solid massage. So if the environment is good and the massage is excellent, I guess most in that category would be fine to pay a liitle more. I may be wrong but again it is just my two cents worth of thoughts.

I think Oriental is really shooting themselves in their legs.
The old price is about just right considering they have no showering facilities.
Anything above 50, we would have plenty of choices, such as Imperial Apple, Zhang Ling@TPP, J&J@ChinaSquare.
