Joey can be good and give hard massage. But she's not consistent. Depends on her mood or tired or not. And u must rapport with her, but can't let her start talking too much or she'll get distracted. Tina is more consistent. No horse run

I find business is bad now after their price increase but I guess no choice since rental goes up high. However, personal opinion is I am pissed off they transfer all these price hike to us....

From $45 to $55 is a lot. Easily 20% up.....blood suckers...l

Personally I think that Oriental made a major mistake in sticking to $45 for so long when many were charging $50 or $55. Being at the club street location for years, they should have done a gradual increase. They should know that the rental there does not come cheap, guess should be easily about $8 psf? Maybe when they were tied to the old rental contract, they didn't see it. And with masseuses all over the island now generally getting paid about $25 per hour, it is definitely very difficult to support the business if it remains at $45 per hour, and even more so for a joint that does not operate for 24 hours. They definitely cannot cut the masseuses salary or else no masseuses would be willing to work, so next alternative is to increase the entrance. I foresee more and more joints will soon have to increase to about $55 per hour if rental continues to go up. This is just my personal opinion, definitely no offence to bros who disagree with my views.

I blurted out in front of the boss that Joey was early for the day. Didn't know who the boss was. Joey was afraid boss find out she often comes ten am instead of earlier. So...

Pre-increase weekends: No advance booking, appointment only available after 7pm and usually all rooms full before that.

I frequent there once a week. According to my observation, the first and second week after the price hike, their business is still good. It is crowed on a Monday afternoon.

Now, we are in the third week. Things are so different when I was there a few days ago. Most of the masseurs are sitting downstairs chatting away. I was told my masseur that business on weekdays was sluggish but crowed during weekends.

I am also thinking of trying out elsewhere but too accustomed to oriental TCM. Any bros have good recommendation?

I found Tang Dynasty to be better. Better deco, staff friendlier, cheaper, attached shower in room too, operates 20 hours a day too (good for night massages).

Agree, Han Dynasty deco and facility are much better, but there are a few masseuse in Oriental there's still worth going back for.

I guess that this place has lesser customer these days... I walked in at 6pm and they were avaliable slots for me for 90mins...
Maybe it will be a good message for the boss to readjust the price down...

In the past, on a weekend you have to wait till 7-9pm for a slot if walk in without prior appointment.

I still go Oriental Once in a while to look for a regular. But frankly speaking, the facilities, tower, bed, etc are getting wore out, they need to change.

I will say this will up the busines of the one few step away at Gemmill lane as well as opposite cross the st at China Square basement which is still me favourite with nicer facilities n better massage, nice n younger massuer! All the 3 prices are neck to neck!
