Account open in Singapore. Any bank with a plus sign. UOB is the better choice. Got a debit visa card so can withdraw easily in vietnam. Only atm with signs accepting visa or plus is able to dispense cash.

So you can deposit in Singapore and ask ur gal to withdraw in vietnam. confirm safe and cheaper.

within 5 days u will received a statement stating the withdrawn amount.

But we must take note of the $2.00/mth admin charge if the acc. balance falls below $500. most bank having this rule now..

Every 2 million VND withdrawal from the PLUS system will incurr S$5 charge from the bank. The exchange rate will also be lower. As for UOB's branch in HCMC, its not a full banking branch. They don't offer personal savings account.

I think this is the old charges liao. I just did my transfer few days ago. I remitted S$1k to HCM, Western Union at Golden Mile only charged me $20 nia.

In some thread...it was mentioned that PA/CC have such course. Some of the private school also have. I learned mine at the school at Bugis, the one beside Hotel 81. But think going for course doesnt help much...

From someone who spoke quite well told me, best is get someone to speak quite often with you, because even a slightly wrong prononcation will also caused misunderstanding. Haha.

Anyway thanks I will keep looking out for it.
