Job done but it was a nervy match. We should have taken the early chances. VVD could have had a hat trick. We are very well drilled. Kelleher's save from VVD's mistake was super amazing. Quite sad to think we will lose him next season.

MC was outplayed in every department. Well deserving win.

Have not seen MC played so badly and well deserved to lose 7 consecutive games (4 matches in PL - means lost 12 points)

I had to retract my comment about Salah taking penalty. Goalkeeper dived correctly but the penalty kick was so powerful that went in before MC goalkeeper can block it.

Well said but due to PFA, most cannot afford to buy too many expensive players. Especially Barca.

Finally have to say a few words on Pep's reaction to the Kop post match on the field, raising 6 fingers to them when they bantered him by singing "you are getting sacked in the morning"...geez was Pep rattled or what?!...I mean what about 6 Ls in the last 7 Ps for City, 6 CLs currently for the Reds and 115 charges hanging over City...not forgetting this is the first time ever that Pep has lost 4 consecutive league games in his entire managerial career thus far!! Sheesh

Our PL games before and after the CL games are damn tough (except Southampton). Villa is a CL team now. Brighton is a good team. Chelsea's form is super good or super bad.

I wrote this 3 months ago. Time flies. It was written after our match against Man U. 10 tricky games over the past 3 months and it ended with 9 victories and 1 draw.

Given our injury situation during these 10 tricky games, I don't understand how some people can still say we are lucky.
