Yes, very sadly it does appear that our fear - that CP, DGG and even the whole off Guangdong will become Paradise Lost - is actually happening. What a pity!

I've been trying to do some research and to get others to discuss alternate destinations etc, but so far, I've not been able to figure out a destination that ticks off all or even most of the boxes.

CP was just too good I guess, sigh....!

Thailand might be a problem from time to time because of their politically issues.

How about the Western part of Guangdong province that I think you are quite familiar with/had written previously about; any suggestions for around those towns West of the Pearl River?

I guess you are talking about Emping, Kaiping, Taishan, Jiangmen and Foshan, sorry majority are in a crackdown mode. I went to a few and ALL were closed. There were NO lights and doors were locked. I am sure there's a few that are opened but secretly. Things might have opened up more since it was over two months ago. If anyone does come out to this area, it will take about 3-4.5 hours by bus from Shenzhen depending on what city.

I still remember getting two girls for only 100 each at Shui Kou. In other words, a total for only 200 rmb for a three some. This was many years ago. Shui Kou is a small town 10 mins by taxi from Kaiping. This hotel at Shui Kou was famous, especially on some of the Chinese forums. I sometimes meet people from all over the world but the majority were locals.

Yes, thanks, these are the places I was thinking about.

Not places which gets reported on regularly and thus yours very useful - especially since other more familiar and well documented areas are now under so much closer scrutiny for crack-downs by the authorities.

Who knows, perhaps such lesser well-known places could be viable destinations for our sexploration in search for a CP replacement!

I just back from Zhongshan after spending a week there. Still got place to have fun. KTV is still open. SN is also open if you know where to find. However do note, the choice is definitely much lesser than the old CP and the price in Zhongshan is actually higher than CP. If more adventurous, can try the smaller town in Zhongshan, like SW, SX or DZ. Price is cheaper.

This may be old news to some but there are new joints opening up 30-45 minutes drive away from Dongguan. Specially to cater to the "demands" that Dongguan is not able to provide at the moment.

But already I'm feeling bore Liao... Something is sure missing...

Definitely it's not the gal which is missing, I have more than enough to last me the nights...

The expectation of excitement is missing for me, nothing to look forward to in CP...

No SN, flower st, ktv singing, tcss with bros... All missing... Haiz...

U not much excitement maybe u too familiar with CP and have too high expectation liao. To make things worse, no more fun in choosing from flower st and the limited number of mm to choose from. OR not much competition for pussies???... hahaha

Maybe time to move-on to other cheong spots?

Friends just came from CP. Wanted to hear FR from them over kopi but ended more like emo session... reminiscing over the good old days. Guess the golden age of CP is over for now. Can only hope it makes a comeback soon or hope another place comes up.
