Bro, could you please advice is it wise to change peso here in s'pore or would it rather be advatage chaing in A/C??
I will be there from 03/03/2011 till 06/03/2011 .

Exchange rates are consistently better in AC. Besides, hate having to declare if bring in above a few hundred dollars worth of peso
In my opinion, its better to change S$ to peso in AC cos of better rate and also the 10,000p limit. Do carry about 1000p for taxi or bus or jeep from the airport. The money changer at the airport may not be open. ATM is available at the airport if needed.
To look at rates in perspective. If you change S$500 to pesos and you get a rate of 33.00 instead of 33.20, you are looking at a difference of 100p or S$3.30. So if you're changing S$100 then its only 20p or S$0.66. You decide.
If you plan to travel to other places in the Pi, then AC has the best money changers. Last week I managed S$1=34.10p at Zeny in Check Point.

To the best of my knowledge, its supposed to be available for all flight arrivals and will be parked along the road just after the Philtranco bus outside the terminal. Price for us is 50p to main gate or Dau bus terminal. I heard it departs Dau terminal for DMIA 2 hours 10 minutes before any flight. But I never tried this inward service.

Thanks Ziebart. I've taken it once from airport to SM but that was when I arrived in the afternoon. Coming trip will arrive in the eveining...still deciding if should just pay for the hotel pickup...

Hotel Pick Up or taxi will be express service and fast but will set you back 300-500p. Good if you have luggage and also stay "out of the way". Taking the jeep means you wait till they fill it to 6 before they move out. I usually offer the driver 100p all in to exit the Friendship gate and drop me at my hotel on Perimeter Road(Don Juico). If you want to do the same, then please don spoil the price. Thanks.

Thanks for the drink offer. Would be my pleasure to meet you. I just finished 2 trips this month and need to recover myself now. Next trip is Feb 9 to Feb 18 and I will be in AC after Feb 15. If you frequent AC then I suggest you get a Piatnight membership card which is FOC and saved me lots of money in AC and Subic.
I was in AC from 20 to 25. Along the way I got carry away, and forgotten that I was in AC for the bars and girls. Spend less then 3 hours in total at AC bar and barfine only 2 girls which I spend less then 3 hours in total. Every day after lunch off to the casino and for the first 3 days my winning is able to finance for 3 more trips to AC, however on the 5 day my luck run out lost almost half off what I won.
One thing that I notice is the crowd in thin, and some off the bar are almost empty with customer.
IN term of girl in a total failure.

When was it? Last sunday (23.01.11) I went to Lucky Plaza with my maid to remit peso back home, the rate was $1 = 34.67 peso
Exchange rate fluctuates just like the stock market. Rates quoted also varies depending on whether its TT rate or cash rate in banks. OTC cash rate with money changers usually different from bank rates. My mouth salivate with your 34.67 rate but my amount is small and not so painful for me.
Anyway my money changer's rate was on 17 Jan at Check Point.
