Have not been to CM2 for more than 1 year. Anyone been to CM2 at Novotel recently? How's the quality of girls? I heard it is more Russian/ Arab scene now. Whereas the disco at Grace Hotel has been refurbished is much nicer though it is still a Arab scene
Insomnia (sukhumvit soi 10) is awesome though the coyote girls are not as hot as those at Ratcha.

CM2 is indeed now an Araba/Russian territory, mind you it is still possible to find plenty of other Westerners and Asians.

This said, if hunting of FL CM2 has been going downhill for years....

Lower Sukhumvit (where CM2 is) is fking messed up man! The Africans have come in and are selling drugs like nobody's business... ridiculous! If that is not bad enough, you have African hookers... the kind that have bodies like "pull to inflate life vest" kind... and they are dressed in the tightest possible neon colored spandex clothes! (Wearing spandex is a privilege, not a right!) And all the 3-layer pork hanging out... disgusting!

There is a new club called MIXX, behind Central Chitlom, which is suppose to be latest and greatest but I have not been there. Narz (at Soi 23, NOT Cowboy area) is also happening but only on weekends and late.

If you are looking for local joints... there is a underground place called BOSS... happening but you need to be careful and better if you speak Thai. There is also Scratch Dog at Soi20. If you are daring and want to venture out, there is Spoon at Rachada (SYT...yes... underage? Also yes... WATCH IT!)

Ideally, go "shopping" at Soi Cowboy, pick a girl and bar fine her... ask her friend to come along to (bar fine her too... its only like THB700). Tell them you wanna go dancing... like that... you will know all the places (for first timer) and also, you wont look like a sleezy guy hanging alone at the disco...

actually BOSS is not a local joint, its a joint more for ang mohs, hang out at the area near the pool table we have better chance of landing a FL as the dancing area all the girls literally ONLY look at angmohs


btw where is this Spoon at Ratchada?? near Hollywood?
I know theres one thai joint just opposite Hollywood have lots of syts but have lots of rowdy thai kids too

actually a lone ranger sometimes have their advantage in a normal disco...easier to mingle and drink with the lady customers there...be nice to the waiters & managers they know what to do

Close to Hollywood BUT the one you are referring to is Rachada Soi4... crazy locals piling out of there at 6AM when am on my way to golf...

Spoon is also in the same area but drive into the parking lot... cant really see it from the road.

Being nice to the waiters and managers and bouncers WILL take you a longgg way... that is 100% true in Thailand.

Was just advising the newbies who could be shy and dont know the way around...

Usually... in a Thai club... my modus operandi is to enter... get a table semi-central location, buy a bottle... feel rich (Black or Chivas), not so rich (or in the South... Red (THB700) is sufficient)... I prefer to go to the places with Coyotys...
Dont need 15mins... your table will be crowded with GROs and Coyotys... not like one can finish the bottle alone anyway... so why not.
Invite the bouncer (walking around kind) for a drink... waiters... etc... You have a bottle, who cares!!!

Not sure which "opposite" u mean... but cross the road from where Hollywood is, behind Esplanade is Butter Butter (if its still there) but along Rachada Soi 4 is SNOP - local disco, along the main road. SNOP plenty of SYTs but also "nood nid puchai wai loons yer yer" also.
