This one above is the same temple shrine that has the snake-looking dragon wrapping around the temple....the one below is the incense offering altar of the same temple :

Time to head back down to our next destination and on my way down...i saw this eye-opening sign :

And then there was this burning incense altar from the previous temple which i miss out too...

Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Buddhist Temple

A little intro here :

Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Buddhist Temple is one of the biggest Buddhist temples in South East Asia and is a major attraction in Batam. The temple is located near to the Batam Center ferry terminal.

The main chamber consists of statues of Buddha, and the side chambers are Goddess of Mercy (Guan Yin) and Guan Gong deity. Inside there is a shop selling Buddhist items and a vegetarian restaurant, offering a variety of vegetarian dishes & fruit drinks

Now,to the 3rd Chamber :

Heading to the 2nd floor to see the Golden Mi Le Buddha and on my way,i saw this one 1st :

Upon reaching the 2nd floor,i came for what i came for...the Golden Buddha Statue....

Overlooking from the 2nd floor,i saw a Taoist temple at a distance,i forget to take a shot of it from the Buddhist temple 2nd floor,but decide to plan to head there with the guidance of the good bro from here....

I believe this is a new temple,don't remember seeing it the last time when i pass by this area. The temple do not have any major sized statue tho,they have all the incense stick and papers all wrapped up nicely,all ready for prayers,but when i try to locate the donation box,it is no where to be found. The only donation i made in this trip is in the 3 Chambers of the Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Buddhist Temple.

After our 3rd temple visit,the Sun is almost setting down and the good bro here who has been fetching me around the whole afternoon and myself has decide to call it a day. As he still have some time left,he decide to drives me around and i take this chance to try to locate the famous haunted Bali Hotel,Indah2 joint and the Banned Joint New Berry. I have always want to find their exact location and everytime i try to locate it by foot,i am always lost. But this day with someone who is familiar with Batam road driving me around,it becomes so much easier. I learned a lot too.

"Thank you,bro...you have make my 8th Batam Trip a very fruitful one." And becos of him,i have rate my 8th Batam trip a good 9/10,the highest rating i got so far. There are other stuffs that i haven't share out yet,like the Indonesia FPI (a religious group who are like gangster,using religion to extort money from business people in indo),passing by Newton,using it to mark some location that i'd be visiting in my future Batam trip,and also got the chance to know that there is actually an University in Batam as well....lol. All these will be shared in time as i move along in this thread and when i continue to visit Batam.

In this 3D2N,beside the good bro i met,i have also the honour to meet up with the good bro who shows me around Batam,link up with bro Naka ,met up another 2 other bros who visit Batam for the 1st time and 1 other for the 2nd time. 1st day was a disappointment(becos i am fell sick),2nd day was fruitful,3rd day was sad.

Sad not becos i have to leave Batam when my time there is at its best,but becos i receive info that 2 of the bros in here who visit a new joint by the name Morena 29 booked 1 girl each from there and both girls ran away when the 2 bros were having dinner.

The above are my summary for the Batam trip on 25th to 27th Sept 2014. And as Oct 2014 is round the corner,i may be planning my next trip any time soon. Becos of the 2 public holiday which i am avoiding,i may shorten it to 2D1N instead of my regular 3D2N. Thank you all for reading and forgive me for being over lengthy on my postings.

PS : Opps! I think i forgot about my girl who come back to the room at 3pm and i was temple visiting...when i came back to Hotel room at around 6pm+,my girl is sleeping in the room already(cos i gave her the room key),i accidentally woke her up and ask if she needs dinner. She says not hungry but i still went to da bao for her and left to meet up with another bro for dinner. I left behind around 60k to 70k small change for her to buy food if she didn't like what i da bao too. Tell her i will be back in abt an hour or 2...as i am already well recovered and have more than enough rest + in good mood,the entire night were bonking time.

Next morning,tip her 300k + 50k (for 3D2N) transport and i took the morning Prima Ferries back to Sillypore.

They total have 3 "shop" in batam and a website.
They even do 24hours delivery to hotel with 100k rupia rejection fee.
Advise not to book from there,
Their system, ST is one shot, LT is around 3-4hours, 2 shots

KNN. The rate things are going. Matter of time all go for FLs leow. Since OKT cant even guarantee their girls services!
