Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
Good morning. i was there on 14th sept during the raid. We were inside Club asia and i was with the model spotlight girl and had a good conversation with her. She agreed to follow me at the price of 3000 peso and when the raid is on outside, suddenly all the girls ran panickly inside. All the customers were not affected. My 2 other friends and i, went outside awhile to see the situation and we saw most of the girls were sitting outside. I heard that some of the bars had to be closed temporary. After that, we came back again to club asia and ask the mamasan, that i wanted to EWR her and she told me that she she dont want to be Barfine and i told them is ok and we left the club. After that we went to genesis and we got the girls from there at the price of 1800 peso. During the raid that night, others bars still operatiing as normal.I will post some pics during my stayed at Casa del roque. My friends and i, like the place. its more like an apartment and its about 8 months old only with wifi in the room and cable tv. The next morning, the girls that i wanted to barfine at club asia apologized from what happened last night thru facebook. Overall, we really enjoyed our trip this time. Not to mentioned , we met bro ah hia on our first night there on 13th sept at camelot bar and then we went to bar hop together. Thanks also for his treat at lancelot bar. We really appreciated his help and guide during our bar hoping there.

Fields Avenue crackdown
By: Jess Malabanan ANGELES CITY – Around 80 bargirls working in four different beer joints, owned by foreigners, were rounded by authorities following simultaneous raids at the entertainment district as part of the government fresh crackdown on prostitution dens along Fields Avenue and adjacent areas here Wednesday. Lawyer Ric Diaz, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Central Luzon, said the raid was conducted on the strength of a search warrant issued by the local court against Doll House, Boogles, Dirty Duck and Honky-Tonk Bars situated along Fields Avenue and A. Santos St. in Barangay Balibago. The raiding team, Diaz said, initially found at least 12 minors employed as guest relations officers (GROs) in the said establishments. He said they are still on the process of determining the age of other women. Fields Avenue insiders told CL Daily that the biggest number of women taken by NBI agents came from Doll House with 48, 17 from Honky Tonk , 12 from Dirty Duck and 2 from Boogles. Doll House and Dirty Duck Bars are seems to be the favorites among the clubs catering to foreigners in Barangay Balibago entertainment industry. Early this year, the same clubs were raided by agents from the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), national headquarters in Camp Crame, after the unit received complaints on alleged human trafficking activities. The raid, police sources said, resulted in the sudden relief of Chief Inspector Danilo Mendoza, the erstwhile Provincial Chief of the Pampanga Criminal Investigation and Detection Team stationed here. Mendoza was replaced by Chief Inspector Julius Mana. The entertainment industry in Angeles City, sources said, is the biggest contributor of revenue, at last 40 percent, to the city coffer in terms of tax and business permits. Diaz said the raid was conducted as a response to walk-in complainants who sought the help of his office for rescue operations of a minor working as GROs in one of the establishments. He declined to name the complainants. The women were brought to a secure place inside Clark where they will undergo documentation procedures and eventually be released as soon as the process is completed. All the four bars were not close and business as usual as of press time. Taken from Central Luzon Daily newspaper Philippine addicts source |

So have you actually tried the wifi ? Cause everytime I went to hotel stating having free wifi in the end always get none. Not sure is it my laptop problem or the wifi really little. :P Try searching for more info about this hotel but seems there are none online other than the FB link. Any chances you took some photos of the hotel + rooms ? So you took the pickup from the hotel or you took the jeepney frm the airport to the checkpoint ? And is it safe to walk late at night back to the hotel ? Bro winfieldgold now you have a new choice loh. Seems attractive to me, may give it a try to save cost. |

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips
Bro wetdevil..your can check the room pics in my previous link. I took the transport from the airport to the hotel at 500 peso ( one way) and told the driver to pick up me also when i wanna return. Wifi in the room was good when using my laptop except than when using iphone, it can't detect. Coming back late at night shouldn't be problem. The Lady who sells tidbits and groceries things at the corner warn us that ignore the guy who rides motorbike in the day and call u to chat and etc. Overall with the price that we paid,we really enjoyed staying there.
