since you mention it is near Patpong, it should be Soi Thaniya. In fact, you could use the Skytrain and stop at Sala Daeng.

Patpong and Soi Thaniya are within walking distance of each other.

What is most memorable to me is the manga he produced based on his experience in Bangkok. It is amateurish but very well-drawn and fun to read.

this is Punch. ex-Orbit coyote. most of the first generation (early 2000) coyotes have already retired. she is one of the pioneer batch from Orbit. the coyotes from the old Forte (Sukhumvit Soi 24) and the now defunct Orbit (renamed Soprano House) made a good killing in those days when the novelty has not worn off yet. god knows how many guys got burned real bad. my chiong kakis inclusive. haha.

nowadays any Thai ah lian or ah hway also can become coyote in pubs or discos but the personality is lacking. in the early days the only way to "play" with coyote is to visit the Gentlemen clubs. can be very costly if you are not a member.
