1 question I have, the last time I booked Studio directly from Palazzo ( didn't know about your site yet) I was given rooms on the 2nd floor.. no bathtub ..
is that floor really the studio room floor?? 1700+ baht ..

my room was right in front of the SHIT tank some more.. wah lao ...

cheers!

EyeLevel,

Yep, Studio rooms are on the 2nd Floor, same as the restaurant. We sell them for 1554 Baht/night inc ABF. There are only showers in the room, no bathtub. There are rooms available during these dates. Why not try a Deluxe room this time, price is 1443 Baht/night and these are on the higher floors.

Cheers

Re: Hotels in Bangkok

As the legendary Peter North, I can confirm that Palazzo Bangkok is an absolute gem, now that Huaykwang MRT is just a 5-min walk away from the hotel.

The hotel seems to be undergoing renovation. The room is clean and spacious, but the toilet lacks behind. But if you think of the price that you are paying, it's worth every penny. The lobby is befitting of a 5-star hotel, I kid you not.

7-11 is 5 metres away from the hotel. Breakfast is sumptuous.

As for Tim, I personally feel his service is top-draw.

I hope Tim will provide hotel reservations for famous cities in Vietnam and Korea soon.

Thanks Peter_North,

Thanks for the compliment. I believe a fast service is very important. Yes, you are so right, lobby at Palazzo is very nice. The hotel is such good value for money. Wait till the new wing opens soon. Heard that it is very nice.

Cheers

Naemlo,

Also thanks to you. You are a very loyal and good customer of mine. Thanks for the rep points as well.

I do plan to venture into Asian hotels, but my hands quite full now with Thailand hotels. Asian hotels requires a lot of work and must be careful in choosing a good partner. Speed is the important factor, as customers dont want to wait 3 days for confirmation.

Korb,

Its pretty standard for hotels to ask for a deposit. The room should be already paid for. You could give a cash deposit or they will swipe your credit card as a guarantee only.
