Yeah, many thanks for the great picture.

九寨沟 in oct is a bit cold, but there is a five day period in Oct when 九寨沟 is at it best.

Instead joining a tour group or taking the shuttle bus provided by 九寨沟 which is a bit of rush; you should hook up with a 藏族 resident of 九寨沟 and tour 九寨沟 in your own private car with a licensed 藏族 resident guide.

Recommended hotel is Sheraton of course.

3day 2night is more than sufficient. You can fly direct to 九寨沟九黄机场 from chengdu.

we always engage a private tour guide and driver to bring us ard ...
joining the tour grp is too rush ... no fun ...
we like to take things slowly and enjoy the scenery ...

It like cherry blossom in Japan; you will only know the exact date about 1 month before. It is usual around 10 to 25 Oct. There is only a window of less 1 week, when the leave turn red before dropping off. During these few days, I am told 九寨沟 is the most beautiful.

During this period, hotel rate are about 3 time its usual rate. Eg. Sheraton normally is about 700, this period is around 2000-3000. But you CK this should still very cheap.

And the flight from Chengdu to 九寨沟 though is less than 1hr cost as much if not more than the fare from SZ to beijing. Make sure you get the window seat, as the airport is curved out and on top of two very high mountain. It view is very spectacular.

九寨沟 alone 3 days is more than enough. But there are plenty of other places to vist nearby.

So please take many photo to share with us;as clearly most of us here cannot afford to go 九寨沟 during these few days.

Only resident car are allowed in 九寨沟, you will need some effort and a little luck to secure a pte car.

The view from both side are equally good.

Pte Car are not allow in 九寨沟 unless they are owned by a resident of 九寨沟. So you cannot rent a car in the city or even from the hotel because they are not allow 九寨沟. You need to find a car that is owned by a resident in 九寨沟. Only their cars are allowed in 九寨沟. Only they can drive you around in the resort.

Two ways to arrange this.

First way is more suitable for a man of your status. A friends of mine, organise a corporate outing for his VIP client. VIP outing all the way. Just approach any major tour company that specialise in incentive tour, they will arrange all the details. You just sit back and enjoy....and do not forget to invite all your frinds here..hahha

Second- is probably not suit for you. Anyway now is too early, come sep after you have cfm your date and in the very unlikely event that you decided to travel cheapskate class, you can PM me and we see if my contact/China HP is still alive......

our first step is always engage a tour agency to provide a pte tour guide and transport ... the itinenary will be based on our preferences ...
but we like to have a small grp ... 4-6 paxs will be good ...

From Guilin's train station, ask around for bus service 88 to Linggui, 30-45 minutes ride , cheapo fuck, syt standard fuck for 100rmb, with blowjob for 150, hotel and spa with dragon service from 250 to 400. There are xinjiang meimei working there, ask around as there is a street of fuck shops to look around. Once the bus turns left into Linggui, the first spa has big korean wordings on it's signboard, girls sit behind a glass and dress in white, mini skirt nurse uniform. There are also authentic massage around this area.

In Guilin's itself, most expensive dragon service is supposed to be in this 'condom' hotel, the hotel structure look from afar just like a condom, durex had previously used this hotel for marketing purposes. In guilin, always ask for red-rope, dragon and full services, price ranges from 300 to 1000 and each session last around 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

When you go to Yangshuo, try not to bring your KC along, (pardon my ignorance, what does KC stands for though I know the meaning behind it), Yangshuo is well-known for one-night fling with local tourists who come from other cities, it all depends on your luck though.

If you're bringing your girlfriend to Guilin, try going to Longsheng, the place for hot spring located on top of a mountain and about an hour-plus ride from Guilin. Room rates per night from 300-400 onwards.

i been to yangshou few years ago, from guilin took a ferry

across li jiang river to yangshou.

in yangshou you can find Xi jie (western street)

you can ask around at nite and there should be many happenings

as this consider a tourist attraction
