In my humble view, RH has had the time to get the team sorted out but he has not done so. We may not be a side that can challange for the league this season, but I still see us having enough quality to be a top six side after Man U, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs (not necessarily in that order).

Worst still, he has brought with him the, cannot win or even at the very least draw away, hangover that was evident and apparent for all to see in his managerial stint at Fulham. Yes, it is the players that are on the pitch but it is the manager that ochestrates their performances. How would you expect the palyers to be motivated enough for games if the manager's selection of the players he puts out on the pitch is flawed.

In my opinion, RH has lost the plot, he does not know or has not figured out who are his best eleven players and how to get them to perform to their respective strengths and in their best playing positions. Take Johnson for example, do we have a better right back than him now? The answer is an emphatic NO. So motivate him, get along with him and use him well....not criticize him openly and shame him???!!! Joe Cole is another that is to me a good player, nut is being frozen out by RH. Use him in the hole to support Torres...why stick with the Torres-Ngog partnership? If RH wishes to have two strikers, then why not play Torres with Kuyt instead??? Again, WTF!!!

Also, how he cannot see Agger (who is now fit) as a first choice centre-back is totally beyond me. To think it is rumored that Agger is also leaving Anfiled??? WTF! I cannot imagine losing players like Johnson, Agger, Torres, Reina, Cole and even Gerrard and be left with the Lucas' and the Ngogs in our team. :eek

Relegation is fast becoming a reality my fellow pool supporters, especially if RH remains our manager for this entire season.

I think the worst under souness was 8th? But I don't remember Liverpool were ever challenging for the title under souness either.

But I think this is the first time Liverpool lost 9 matches in half a season...

I think most of the news websites have said that the owners are not sacking RH yet as they do not like to sack managers midway through the season. But they better reconsider it quickly else Liverpool might get relegated at the end of the season.

Anyway, Benitez is still available and I'm sure he wouldn't mind taking temporary charge of Liverpool till the end of the season.
