Heng swee keat: I want to make future singaporeans want to go to ite
An honorable member of the Coffee Shop Has Just Posted the Following:
Education Minister Heng Swee Keat said that he will be working to make ITE and Poly more "attractive options" for Singaporeans. He was speaking to reporters at Singapore Polytechnic's graduation ceremony today and he highlighted that making ITE and poly better was part of the education ministry's key priorities. Addressing the graduating cohort, Heng Swee Keat said that learning does not stop when you enter the workforce. Instead, being able to learn new things is what allows you to succeed. He talked about how Poly is good for this as students are learning while they are working. This sets the pace for how it should be when you enter the workforce, he explained. He also said that the education ministry will continue to put emphasis on values education and ensuring that every school is a good school. This will include making ITE and poly more attractive choices for future generations. * Click here to view the whole thread at www.sammyboy.com. |
