Both of u are right.

Yes, there r many rich n powerful men in PRC, but the overwhelming majority of them will only marry gers w/ uni education n of certain social-economic status. It's a Chinese tradition called 门当户对cos 男女双方的社会地位和经济情况相当,结亲才适合.

These very successful men will never, ever marry those PRC MMs who come to S'pore to work as FLs/WLs or at KTVs/HFJs no matter how beautiful n talented. Exception may be made for a handful of gers who become national celebrities such as famous singers/models or actresses. Furturmore, most of these men only want uni students/graduates as mistresses or 二奶.

Therefore, most of the PRC MMs we meet here in SGP can only hope to marry boys of similar (read low) social class n education background back home. However, in SGP, they hv a good chance to marry up.

Hi bros Big Semens n andyk,

I share a special kinship n affinity w/ gers from Fujian cos all my 4 grandparents were born n bred there n they either spoke Hokkien (Min Nan Hua) or Fuzhou dialect. Most of the gers who come here speak Fuzhou or other dialects, perhaps the Hokkien-speaking ones prefer to go to Taiwan.

Despite my special fondness for Fuzhou gers, I must admit that they r very practical n mercenary n even duplicitous, 2nd only to the infamous Shanghainese, IMHO. Many of them r here to sell their bodies w/ the tacit approval of thier parents, lovers n husbands!! Be very cautious when dealing w/ them! For example, if she has a 哥哥, its a code word for special BF or husband. A 弟弟 is OK.

BTW, I hv agreed to bao a PRC student on my return. And she is from Fujian 宁德 n speaks a strange dialect! She is a formidable "opponent," but I'm hoping to make it a win-win situation.

Yes bro, in 90% of cases. The remaining 10% intend, at least initially, to make it w/o selling their bodies, but most of them eventually fail n agree to be BAOed, haha. The bad economy works against them.

Bro, you share my sentiments about Fujian girls ! That's why normally I avoid Shanghai, Fujian and other big city girls like Beijing, Guangzhou, Dalian...

Talking about Fujian 宁德 girls, they will love you like hell if you give money. If no give money, they will ignore you. My friend stop supporting a Lingde girl after 1 year (because he found a Haerbin girl but Fujian girl didn't know ). When she go back, she did not even shed a tear at the airport nor turn back to wave at him. I personally have encountered one where after helping her, she ask me to pay her 2K if I want to bonk and when I say so expensive, she told me no money dun come out and play ... CCB
