First time I was there, after my taxi turned into the entrance looking for BLOK C, I was wondering if it was a good idea to be alone in this place! Well, after spoting the hit location (LA Bar) my 'little head' took over the major decision and without a second thought, I was out of the taxi and next moment a beer in my hand.

I guess it all boils down to be how we blend ourselves in a new environment. If our body language is friendly and relaxed, face filled with a happy smile - I suppose we will be OK. So far it has work for me and hope it will remain that way.

I really admire your gut to be there alone. Season player like me here would not even think about going there alone in the evening. Daytime is okay. Especially now where there is lots of robbery.

It's done in bright daylight. these guys just come up to u with an axe and ask for your handphone to be hand over. The he just walk off. Even when there's ppl around u..Nobody bother.

it's very famous , especially this group of gangs
who call themselves RED X
try not to show your phone in area like Kota
even when you are in the Taxis.
They will smashed the windscreen of your taxi
just to get your phone.
I've been warned by taxi drivers whenever i make a call
in taxi. and also by local friends.
I didn't believe it, until it actually happen to one of my supplier.

His car windscreen was smashed and handphone taken away
when he make a call at one of the red light stop.
it happen in late afternoon.
so..try not to use HP whenever possible.

I've also personally experiences along tollway infront of Ciputra Hotel
a fully naked guy actually lie along the road just to stop your car
