I hope he preserve his great legend status before further damage to his reputation.

back to back defeats to relegation clubs and KD still "refuses to give up on Champions League football next season" ??

Now we're 13 points behind 4th place Tottenham with only 8 matches to go in the season.

What is wrong with him?

Why did he play Henderson on the right midfield knowing that it will not bring the best out of him at all?

Why did he bring on Raheem Sterling so late in the game? He might as well bring him on in stoppage time? Or did KD think that the game is 120 minutes long just like the Carling Cup final?

I'm beginning to suspect KD doesn't know what he is doing.

Maxi and Bellamy are always in and out of the team and doesn't help the situation when we already have limited options upfront. This season so far, Liverpool are the 2nd worst team in terms of conversion rate for chances created.

The rest of the team looks uninterested and unmotivated to play in the league. There was no sense of urgency in our play, no ball pressing and no players calling for balls. So far, only Spearing, Skrtel and Suarez have been playing well consistently.

I think KD may well struggle to finish the season as manager of Liverpool if this form continues.

I would blame Kenny for the horrible team in the first half...but 2nd half? The players let him down.

With more rumors coming in that Bellamy is being frozen out for arguing with Kenny, I cannot see any other player who can create the impact we need.

Stop playing CA and his loverboy Hendie Even Stevie G is horrible at times with his wayward passing. Maybe he has a reputation in the club too big to be dropped, just like the manager, KD.

The club is indeed in deep crisis.

KD will be safe as there is still the FA Cup to play for. Everton and Sunderland are in form and playing confident football. I suspect KD may resign on his own, he has too much pride at stake. It is obvious he wants Rafa's outfield players out.

Most damning thing is that those players that moved in January are playing well. Jelavic, Sigurdsson, Saha, Cahill etc. He missed a window of opportunity to add on. I think the problem lies in him, not the players, they were the players of the year for their previous clubs.

There is a need for a master motivator like o'neil, redknapp to get the best out if the players. Of cos, the best of them all, Mourinho will never come. Our best chance is Klopp, but it is unlikely as well. Which leaves Rafa.

Many fans and tabloids always says that players would be at fault for a poor performance or season...it's true but...mgrs are there for a reason in terms of motivational factors and tactical decisions.

Tough mgrs are nv paid as well or even near as well compared to the players, their role is to get the individual tactics right motivate the players. If the players are jaded and lacks motivation to play, whose fault ? Who choosess the team ..

Souness was a great player but as mgr?
Roy keane was a great mgr but as mgr?
Stoickov was a great mgr but as mgr?
David platt was a great mgr but as mgr?

I hope he leave on a high by winning the FA cup, but on a long term wise maybe he could be a consultant or a director but not on a daily players management ..

if we sack Kenny like this, we are no different from a club like Chelsea.

Kenny has proven he can manage teams, maybe in the past but come on you don't lose skills just like that. Remember how he made Wilcox and Ripley England wingers?

He is a good manager with players who just aren't good enough. If we are in this situation in January 2013, then I will really be worried.

This club has been in worse situations. Remember donkeys like Paul Stewart, Torben Piechnik, Sean Dundee, Michel Ferri, David Speedie, Kozma and the list goes on...but we recovered and went on to win major trophies, just not the league.

It's just a bad patch now, far from a crisis. When was the last time we beat Wigan too? So it's not like this result is a surprise.

Football is a really short season..38 games in the lg not 380..any highly paid players or mgrs cannot be excused for poor performance...

He won't be sacked but there will be discussion on different roles I'm sure.

Patience and loyalty from fans are diff things, I'm a loyal fan hence opinions flushing down from here..excuses are always part of the game so it's understandable most fans think this way

On a side note, the current batch of players are really good individually but not as a team (mgrs chooses the tactics and playform) I really think Adams and downing and henderson and good individually but not as a team..tts why they performed so well in their previous clubs which entice us to buy them..but the management of them is.....

Top 8 is prolly a minimum now with hopefully an Fa cup in the cabinet.

Another sad weekend ;0(... Questions are still left unanswered...it suddenly makes me miss the time when the team was under Rafa...
We were at least doing great in Champs league and were well in e fight for Champs league almost every season...Is it true that our beloved Pool is jinxed?..at least in the league since like almost 20 yrs ago...?

Utterly disappointing and disgusted by the team performance. Andy Carroll was his usual bumbling self tumbling all over the place. Henderson usual misplace passess, Downing back to being inconspicuous after a couple of good games.

To be beaten by Wigan is one thing but to be beaten at Anfield!! These current crop of players are making Liverpool the laughing stock of BPL. It seems that the once fortress of Anfield is now easy picking for anyone especially the bottom teams. How many times this season has the team failed to gain more then a point against such teams and now to compound it, they are starting to lose to such teams.....absolutely unacceptable.

KD came back determined to re-instill the boot room culture, and likely that's why he bought British, he feels British understands this culture. Out with big name foreign players, you can be foreign but must have stayed a few seasons. Sadly, the team gelled but on the pitch, it is painfully obvious not.

He bought players who excelled in their positions and played them out of positions. That's tough, they already have a huge price tag hanging on them. Then he took out players who was bang on form, Maxi, Jonjo and hardly play them. I saw Maxi seems unhappy when he was sub after about 60 mins in the last game but his replacement was anonymous.

Now excuse is tiredness. Most damning thing he said is that is nice to see young players on the pitch but main thing is to protect them. What logic is this? They can play 30 mins right? It won't kill them for sure. Not 5 mins！Dammit, you already said the team wad tired, why don't you use the young players?

Quit being obstinate, listen to the fans. Else the owners will listen to the fans and you will be fighting for your managerial life..

Really depressed when i saw the results...lagi worse when i saw stoke holding citeh to a draw...but gotta say wat a beauty of a volley by crouchie!....btw how is the young lad sterling?...heard abit abt him but not seen him play as yet...alot of soul searching to be done over the summer...

When I watch them play the first 30 minutes I know we are going in for a hard time. When the referee awarded the penalty , I just switched off knowing that it will be another defeat staring at us . I am glad I made the right decision.

Really what i King Kenny trying to say his players are tired ??? A lot of bull . All these players are professionals and they should be used to playing o many games in one week. He should come out and say that he is part to be blamed. That he employ wrong tactics. Used different players for this game. The only thing positive to say that he is using the youngsters for once.

Some of the players again don't deserve to wear the Liverpool t-shirt. There is no urgency from them. I must again stress that the new English players don't deserve to wear the Liverpool t-shirt.

I think we lost 6 games in a row. And if we were Chelsea I am sure KingKenny would have been sacked by now . Let's hope that we can win the FA Cup. I will not be watching Liverpool games in the BPL from now on. Such a big disappoinment .
