I'd just got my passport done, I will travel to Batam this Saturday night from JB.
I had never been to Batam, I read all of this thread and didn't find much help. Can someone kind enuf to give a simple instruction about what to do after arrive to the Batam by ferry. I don't plan to spend too much money, so the instruction must teach me how to get most bang out of the money. My plan is simple. I figure after arrived Saturday night, I will take a taxi (is there any bus service?) to get a cheap shophouse hotel room near downtown, walk over to a club, pick up a girl and keep her for a night. Head home the next day around 3p.m. Hopefully some more actions before I leave. So I need instructions to get the best budget hotel, best club for pick up, what price to pay for one night. Thanks all bros.
