Thanks for the info. If that is the case VV can be a real bargain considering his vast experinces. I hope he recovers in time and really give SM a run for his money. On another side note DS is injured while training for England.

DS is like a sick chicken..... his kind of injury can never be 100% recover and fully healed. Many players have suffered the same kind of injuries throughout the years..... amongst them was Michael Owen, Marco van Basten, Harry Kewell, Ronaldo, Gabriel Batistuta etc..... it all started with the hamstring muscle tear.... and no permanent cure has been discovered yet as this injury is bound to have relapse if the injured parts is put under stress again.

Luckily BR has signed Mario so Liverpool still has another striking option.

Another injury pick up this time is Jordan Henderson. He suffered his injury while in training for England. This is not a good sign. I only hope Sterling stays fit.

time for our club doctors to learn to pull our players out from international matches, esp. meaningless friendly match...

and fucking Woy, played our players for full 90 min during last week friendly. while giving most of the others an earlier rest..

This England manager is an asshole. Played our players for the full match while changing Arsenal and ManU players. I seriously do not know what was in his mind....

Daniel Sturridge is likely to miss 4 Liverpool matches as he is out for 3 weeks.

Jordan Henderson is doubtful for this weekend's match against Aston Villa as he injured his right ankle in England's training session.

That's the advantage of havin strong backup in our squad now.

Mario , Lambert or even Borini could step in for Sturridge.

While Coutinho, Markowic, Lallana or Allen could fill Henderson's place.

Not as worrying as the past.

RH is trying to get the England team to play in the Liverpool style so he uses all the Liverpool players as much as he can..... he doesn't care about them being overworked otherwise his head will roll if he does not deliver results.

Another touchy game for the Reds as AV super quick counter attacking game with their speedy forwards is gonna cause problems for our back line again.
Just hope Sterling & company can score more goals than our defence let in.

actually cant fully blame RH for being an asshole cos essentially Liverpool has the most number of in-form English players in the EPL. imagine how much more damages we'll have if SG hasn't retired, if Johnson was in better form n selected n Lallana gets picked after recovering fr injury.

it hurts to see our players gettin injured on Int'l duties but view it positively (i know it's hard

), Liverpool is proud to be a largely English team contributing to the national squad whereas the other top EPL teams are merely flaunting their wealth to buy foreign imports.

again, to view it positively, the injury to Sturridge (any more?) might pave the way for other players to perform n shine in the coming games.
