It's very near to Ratchada and Watana Mansion.

Yo bro, better change your money at Super Rich Exchange into S$1000 notes each (they can give slightly better rates than other exchanger in big amount of $).

S$1000 note easier to keep.

I done it before and carried amount more than >50k back.

fresh uni grads only get around 15-20K baht/mth. 5-10k baht/mth for rental is too expensive liao. 3k baht range is more feasible. if you get paid with Thai standard salary, you will find 5k baht/mth is considered expensive liao!

those driving cars are usually born in Bangkok and still living with parents lah.

last year my ex-fling 出新车 (Honda) after only one year working as a property agent! she is a uni grad. she used her own money to buy not from her parents. and she stays in a 3K baht/mth apartment with her brother.

those thinking of renting an apartment for your girl to stay in this area better be careful. alot of motorsai driveby snatch thefts in this vicinity. they aim for lady's handbags. for guys there is no problem.

by the way Thanatawee is considered expensive for middle class Thai standards. usually the ignorant thanchart/farang thought he got a good deal even with long term stay. haha. so many cheaper alternatives just blocks away only. anyway i hate the dogs here. like to kpkb all the time. the residents might even feel it is good security. haha.

First of all, how did you find those apartments? The Room Apartment is very nice with reasonable rates but it's located in Rahamakang (spelling error)! No BTS or MRT stations near! Will you be driving in Bangkok? I also like Master Place, even though it's near BTS, its still too far to walk. It's inconveient to catch motortaxi every time you wants to go out. Is it safe for your wife to walk around the apartment complex? Also, when you decide to rent the apartment, do you check the water pressure before signing the lease agreement?

Keep in touch, I need to contact you in 23 months, that's when I will be looking for an apartment in Bangkok!

-too ulu liao. going into the city is quite a distance. you will cry father and mother when you are stuck in a traffic jam at Lat Phrao.

Master Place
-haha i am very familiar with Chokchai 4. in and out of this place for years! this apartment is very far into Chokchai 4. you will need to take a songthaew to the beginning of Soi Chokchai 4, walk to Lat Phrao main road to take a bus and drop off at Lat Phrao MRT in order to take a train. bus 73 and 514 can take you to Ratchada, Pratunam, Siam Square, etc. most 7 or 8 baht buses will run straight on Lat Phrao. use them as feeder buses to Lat Phrao MRT.

by the way Valentine 2 MP is at Chokchai 4 but standard sucks lah.

when i look at the apartment, i will check the lights and toilets 1st
