Actually travelling alone is quite fun. Just be alert with your surroundings and everything should be fine.

Basically it depend very much upon individual. Whether R u adventerous enough to explore the city alone. There are pros and cons for going solo. Being able to go anywhere and anytime u want without having to wait for friends or agreeing on a common destination to go. The cons are sometimes it can be quite lonely especially during the meal, dining alone. Also some places (Clubs) is better to be ventured with some friends as cost can be shared.

Anyways, my next coming trip is also solo

Well, tonight is my last night in Bkk and for my last fling, I will be going to Orient Massage for 2 hours of gel massage and extras performed by one and only Aree! are there any farms (like hatyai) that i can go to? most of the time when i go to bkk, i go to a MP. so i was thinking of something longer.

i'll be residing near the beach at pattaya and at ratchada when in bkk.

I travelled alone, so do some of the brothers here. Get a hotel near to MRT or BTS, @ least you will not get lost easily. The most prominent place to spot for your way to hotel. Cheers.

I always travel alone thou i try with friend but its simply too busy.My greatest record was 10 days'14 gals.I will leave it up to yr imagination.Cheonging alone can be more fun then with friend if u know ur dirction.at least u dun have to wait.

A little bit of pasa thai will help as well

Travel alone no problem one lah.....
just make sure u be aware of ur surrounding....
be alert. Take a card from hotel lor.....
make sure is those with thai words one not those with english wording....
becos thai cabby not all understand those english thai words....
they only know those local thai words.....

Take hotel namecard also useless...some bkk taxi drivers don't read Thai and or are see fatt holes !.

Once, a cab driver don't know how to get to my hotel from Suvarnbhumi. Take Rama 9, get off at Phloenchit exist, down ramp, turn left later, turn right into Bumrungrad Hospital, pass throught, turn right to soi 3, pass Grace Horel, blah, blah, blah........and .....there is the Hotel. Have to show the way ( including short cut ) to the cabby !!!. He was NEW . Sh*t !.

Another cabby tried to be funny, took me along Petchabhuri / RCA, then Rachada areas and pointed out the various soapy MPs out to me when i wanted a direct route from airport to hotel that's in Nana area.

" i take you there, here ? ". " Massage, sanuk, happy time, pu ying suai, etc in this MP, good good chee byes. etc ". I told him to take me to hotel pronto because my pu ying is lying naked on the bed waiting for my service !!!.

Tuk Tuk drivers are worse..... ( pretending not to know the way and take u for a costly ride ). Once i got mad and started kicking the back of his seat repeatedly while he was driving, screaming profanities ( some in Thai ) at him. He took me to where i wanted and i threw the money at his feet.

BE ALERT is good but its better to be STREET SMART.

me also prefer to travel alone to bangkok to have sanook. sorry for asking this question that is abit out of topic...but is it a good idea to try No Hand Restaurant alone??? feel tempted sometimes but since alone, i just skip it...not sure about the price and hows inside works, i think it would be great if the bill can be share among frens...any bros try before???
