Hello.
Anybody knows anything about the Morena Pub? What's going on there? Where is it? Only for locals? (NOTE: NOT the Morena 29 brothel! Not the restoran! I mean the PUB)
Also, I know a girl who recommended me to try the Sphynx disco. I thought it was a sh*t-hole and I never tried it, but she told me it's ok. Anybody knows it?

Yes,DC Mall do sell Laptop but has very limited number of netbook.80% 2nd hand stuffs. A great place for me to design my own hotel room too. But i wouldnt suggest this place to anyone looking for PC parts or accessories unless one has dwell in Sillypore's Sim Lim Sq for a bit and has some basic knowledge on computer parts (and its pricing).

What i find out is,it is the lowest priced most comprehensive internet pre-paid sim card for a 3GB data in 2014.It can last up to 3 months. i know they are available in Batam,but where to get them? Info from online 4 years ago (another set of info state it opens Dec 2014): The Sphinx Disco, located in the Seruni Hotel is another good late night venue with loud music and beautiful single girls. Most nights they do not charge entry fee though drinks are expensive. Around 50,000Rp for a mixed spirits drink.

I am no frequent visitor to NED (as i dont visit Batam night spot) but i do have a small list on it (my set-aside notes) from another site which i have yet to add on to the Batam Cheong List becos i am not too sure about its location nor its "night spot nature". Below are some of those assorted notes i collected some times ago for my personal reference (updated as of towards end of 2014) :

Pubs and Bars in Nagoya

Area around Harmoni Hotel, Panorama Regency Hotel, and Goodway Hotel is known as the area of Nagoya Entertainment District, or often called the NED.

Along the way there are plenty of pubs, bars and nightclubs such as:

1. Lucy’s Oarhouse which is the most popular pub in Batam which also serves meals and snacks.
2. Go Go Bar
3. PP Banana which is open from 2 pm only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
4. Rio Rita, located just opposite Lucy’s Oarhouse.
5. Jungle Bar, on the right side of Lucy’s Oarhouse which is the oldest bar in Batam.
6. Classics, located next to the Jungle Bar.
7. Red Cock Inn, located just opposite Classics which offers a menu of Europe and Asian.
8. Ice Pub, located next to Classics, which is also one of the oldest pubs in Batam.

Bro nono, I am using a card from Tri.co.id 3GB for RP50k, according to the girl, can use for 1 year. Connection speed is slow and disconnected at times but it might because of the sheer number of ppl in batam this weekend.
