you cheong thailand enuff to know that this is internal problem and will not affect other parts of thailand. Only problem is the airport.

In fact I hope to get stuck after my flight arrives on the 15th April so the govt can repeat the 2kB offer to stranded tourist! Flights diverted to U-Tapao is also better for me as I am heading to Pattaya

Well, I would say it is a different thing all together like a tarma sandwich soapy with you in the middle.....I had it once in Chaopraya 2 in Sri Ayutthaya Road many many years ago like 10 years ago and I went back there everyday for 3 days straight...hahahahah!
