=> At same time,the Inexperienced Dealer can also "shortchanged payouts" the Player...which have happened in RWS...and later to settle tis matter...it needed to play thru' the camera recordings...and that Dealer was rude & unprofessional at first...and later apologetic over the matter !!!...So tis may also happened in MBS in the early opening weeks !!!...

Well just visited Marina Bay Sands website.

If MBS is really more classy than RWS.. I will consider to purchase an annual levy with MBS

=> In last Weekend Business Times - there was an article on Macau Sands...with a Dealer conspiring with a Gambler to cheat millions there.And the writer of tis article mentioned he was killed by a person who manages all tis junkets connected with MS & have connections with the Triads,which was denied by LVS - Las Vegas Sands...that tis person is a director of any companies approved by LVS...So will tis affect or delay the issue of Casino licence for MBS ???....

And the article have also stated that recently there were news of the Casino King - Stanley Ho connections with the triads & his daughter Pansy managing MGM Casino...and tis is currently being investigated...And the owners of RWS - GENTING actually have a VIP Room there !...But they have been issued the Casino licence & have been in operations for months already !!!..It's definitely a very tough decision for our Garmen...as already foreigners was caught cheating RWS !!!...There'll be more such incidents to happened in the future !!!....

There are rumours already that there may be new Casino restrictions on those work permit holders liked Malaysian,PRC & others....Can U imagine that during the weekend,they lose whatever they have earn or own thru' their hard work ?...Some may go crazy to take drastic actions !!!....

Yeap, like robbing or stealing from locals. I personally feel that the govt is not managing the social impact of casino gambling very well. Lots of screw-ups, like charging locals & PRs $100 tax to go in while Work Permit holders can just walk in for free. In fact, the average salary that these WP workers earned, they can ill-afford to gamble it away. Going to cause a lot of social / security problems.

In fact, initially when the govt proposes that there will be a plan to stop low income earners from entering the casino, that's how most Singaporeans agreed and stopped protesting the construction of the casinos. Now, the govt did an U-turn, and EVERYONE despite of income levels can enter the casino to gamble, just need to pay the govt a $100 tax per entry. The govt is just interested in generating additional taxation income for themselves and not interested in addressing the social consequences and protecting the lower income individuals from gambling addiction.

There are very easy ways of ensuring only high income earners can enter the casino, the system is already in place: Just place anyone who earns less than $30k p.a. (or $40k p.a.) into the exclusion order list. Only when your annual income crosses this threshold, then you are allowed to enter the casinos to gamble. This should apply to ALL locals; Citizens, PRs, Work Permit holders, Employment Pass holders etc. Govt have easy access to every individual's income/taxation IRAS records, so obtaining this data is not a problem.

With the above protection in place, the $100 levy tax should be discontinued, as it no longer serves its stated purpose.

But as with all things and past policies that this govt implement, it's all about maximizing their own taxation income without due consideration to the accompanying adverse social impacts. Very disappointed.
