if you are first-timer to Batam, now is not the perfect time as it's the fasting month and, the path would be rougher than usual.
If you already know your way though, 10th onwards for a few days should be pretty ok, though most joints might still open thru the back route. Disco, think normal days they can open from 6pm to 3am. Normal as in those days they are not forced to close.

Nothing much lah, pretty much most of the joints are closed, back doors opened only. Disco closed also. Heard they can only open until 3am WIB on non-forced closure.
Went there, mainly quite quiet loh, stayed in room basically, went out grab dinner, shopped a little, that's about that..

Hmm.....
In order not to clash with the Ramadan, if I go on the 17 & 18, will there be any prob? Can anyone provide me information on when I reach there, how should I proceed on when I reach Batam. Which hotel, how to look for gals and on so. Sorry, Noobz here.....
