Re: Updated Airfare Rates to BKK

I bought AirAsia tickets for $297 - not the cheapest around but I'm a sucker for perfect timing (I'll reach Bangkok at 12pm just in time for check-in and leave for the airport just shortly after check-out; I dislike stranded time-slots in general).

Well, I guess you get what you pay for. My Tiger Airways ticket cost me just $50 cheaper during my last trip and I only reached the hotel at 10-ish at night.

Wa, S$144 considered very cheap liao. Anyway, S$204 for June also good deal. Only downside is gotta come back on a weekend.

cheapest i ever took costs only S$28.14. BKK return trip by Airasia. back in 2004. haha. gone are the days where return trips are only $80-90 range if you book 3 months in advance. glad i didn't miss the golden years. something to reminisce about. savings that are stashed in the left pocket but eventually funds kena conned by puyings out of the right pocket.

Back then, I did regular airlines circa 150 or sub-200 (off peak). My Zuji alert still has this old history sub-200 (dream on?). But then oil prices were nowhere levels now.

On your savings bit, at least you had personal gratification by feeling shiok2 hehehehe

i remember that during the SARS period. major airlines are damn cheap! haha. Norikasan55 the budget guru would be the happiest if a major outbreak occurs again. kns price will drop like shit irregardless of high oil prices.
