Will u be there end oct to early nov?
You did bothing wrong. Its my nature. Yes I reporting from my room in Charlie which suits my budget. Checked my travel dates and I will NOT be in Philippines betweeen Oct 9 to 15.
Walked Fields to see the situation at 2am and the scene is BAD. So many bars closed early. Fields was empty except in front of Golden Nile. Many frightened girls waiting outside a locked GN Building. It was pay day and the girls i talked to were the day off girls hoping to come collect their salary. Saw a group of girls climb down from the roof with a ladder at 2.05am. Another bigger group came down later. Seems that a big bus and a van full of girls and a few foreigners were taken.

Re: Raid Last Night.

Weather is fine today and sky overcast. I am sitting at Paradise Beer Garden watching the girlls walk by.

Guess its a cautious attitude from the bars the next few days.

I copy and paste an amusing eye witness report of an incident last night after the bus drove off from Golden Nile.

"Incompetence of this raid was a riot. They lost all but maybe 4 girls tonight from the Golden Nile bar. I was standing in front of Atlantis watched the bus pull up and stop. Apparently one of the girls on the bus was having a panic attack when the bus stopped to let the girl off to maybe treat her 40 or 50 Golden Nile girls made a mad rush for the door and escaped out onto fields Ave... LOL

So then the fxxkers back up head back to Blue Nile and nab all those girls and customers in there." By donky.

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips

I was in Manila for a short trip to run some errands and got an invite to the soft opening of the Grand Central hotel in Angeles city. Orange Lion hotel has completed its renovation and is now named as the Grand Central hotel.

I was unable to go but a couple of my business associates did make the trip there. The feedback they gave wasn't very good.

Asians will find it hard to get a room there as it is another 'for caucasians only' establishment in a tit-for-tat move against the korean community/businesses.

If you know the filipinos..... this is another example of their "competence and efficiency" ..... just like the Manila tour bus hijack incident

Never mind la... Let the caucasians enjoy it....

Not many can afford anyway given my observations except during the peak period.

sooner or later they will have to turn to koreans/chinese/taiwanese for support....

then lets kick the arses of the hotel managers

Regretfully they did the right move. Rooms are always full in the high end hotels. They know that exclusiveness can allow them to charge more and still fill their rooms. Have you heard of the US$1000/night rooms yet in AC?
Yes, the foreigners you see who is on a budget are more the residents. The tourists are the big spenders. especially if they happen to be "war contractors" having their R&R. They come for 2-3 months in AC and the rest of the year are in Afghanistan.

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips

Yah, especially since the baddies are trying to kidnap and cut the neck, than shoot and kill....

A friend serving in Afghanistan just said .. the first day he arrived, to escort a Chinese contractor, they stepped out of the hotel and first thing - they hear bullets whizzing by ..

The guy is French .. and a hard ass .. and he was wondering what the chinese were trying to risk, by being in such a hostile area ..

Well the Fields Ave seem like super off peak period. I couldn't comment about the bars or clubs as I didn't try any of them this time round. The weather was cloudy and quite cooling with short periods of rain. Exchange rate SGD1 : PHP35

Have fun

Re: Angeles City (Balibago) Tips

I dun like Manila cause of the noise, dust, pollution, abundance of conmen n touts.

So if AC is really gonna be cleaned up as promised where do i head next?

AC was convenient cause its hop into ur flight in spore and hop out of it in Clake and then a short ride away u r in Fantasy world already
