A new lounge was open this week not sure if it belong to the same boss at baliester plaza ( 188 ) .181 Music Lounge , peninsula excelsior hotel 6th floor .

Will drop by this week .

Speaking of Club 188 at Balestier Point: open for around 2 months, has about 22 singers. By comparison to other medium-sized joints (Starlight, GeCheng [the one near Xianzi], Allson Hotel), I'd rate it higher average calibre of cute singers, maybe about the same as CJ, but below the top joints. Business seems quite good, though guess that's common for newly opened places. Hanging seems standard, min $50 but norm more $100 and above, but still not as intimidating as DC, HC, etc.

One disadvantage I think is the location, as there's nothing much else there, parking is hard and not in building, and complex itself is very run down. The joint itself is ok, though looks a bit lower end than most, despite it being brand new.

Net: worth a visit, though b/c of location I probably won't go much more, prefer hanging around closer to Peace Center/Middle Road so I can walk somewhere else if the mood suits me

Would like to ask those Senior Bro here about HFJ.

If you went to the same place too often, and the same gal sitting with you,
and if you thinking of changing a new one, how would you do?

Also, if after two to three times, you don't like the gal, how do you
reject her? avoid the Joint?

Agree stop hanging her one way, tho she might take a few times to get hint bc always hoping out of pity you'll hang again. Perhaps more face saving for her is to tell the singer-manager that going forward you prefer to spend time w the other singer and she'll handle it.

Interestingly was once introduced by singer-manager to a singer on long pass only b/c I foolishly told her I like Dongbei girls so she immdiately brought over one before I could stop her. This girl's looks ok but not my type, hung her then and also next time out of politeness but then stopped. After 2 no hangs she got hint and greeted me going forward but left me alone. Then 2 mos later when my regular singer left, she came by again for chat, I discovered she's brighter than most, so now I hang her when I go. No intention of ever bonking her, just someone I view more as friend and I help out when I come by w small flowers

So my one rule when going to HFJ is always to tell singer-manager NOT to recommend anyone, will chose myself while watching. So less often have to deal with making girl lose face by not hanging her later on.

Which reminds me of another tale. Singer-manager at one place was about to go home and wanted to intro me to her 'little sister' (the real mei-mei of her good friend back in Chongqing). As I liked this manager, I let her, but her sister not my type, hung her and someone more my type. Next time only hung the one I liked, and the sister was obviously very upset, refused to look at me rest of night and otherwise was quite bothered. She had been sending me SMSs after that first meeting, so I felt bad, but that's what you got to do if she's not your type!

I think the real meaning of spending monies is to make yourself happy,
not making yourself misery and feeling bad about the surrounding.

Singers - likewise will only look for the sugar daddy to grab and hold on
to it. If we are not in their game plan, we are out of the game.

yah, you're definitely right. Even one KTV girl warned me I'm too soft-hearted and she was worried about me. So naturally I got cheated by a KTV girl a few years ago; I knew it was possible when I gave her the money, so I was only somewhat upset when it happened, figured instead in scheme of life it was a cheap lesson. I even told the story to my last gf to explain why I would not send a dollar to her after she returned to China, only while she's here in SG. So thanks for warning, but I have kept my heart under wraps and kept these as commercial dealings so so far ok!

Yup, definitely! There is the rare singer or KTV girl who tries to hold out, other bros tell me some successfully, tho very rare now in this recession. But I assume all are here for the simple purpose of making money so if I can set up a mutually-beneficial arrangement, great. If they refuse, ok, move to next one. I'm not into trying to convince the hold-out to stop as it takes too much time

A good player can bonk many singers from the same stage
Though it's no secret who is being bonked by who on stage, by doing so, there'll actually be a competition for you by them to be the ONE!
The question here is, are you the jewel that they're willing to fight for??????
This is life in a HFJ and they're also filled wif singer politics to grab or potong jalan other singers customers.....so do not feel bad...like i said, do not use morals on them, unless again, they your cai!
They day you experience singers fight literally bcos of you, do not feel worse of even heart broken, feel good about it, cos you're already promoted to someone that they feel is worth fighting for...but remember hor, its not for you or your heart, it's to get into your bank account hahahaha

Few weeks ago when I was in the old premises, the manager told me in June.

Saw one new place along Serangoon - if you are driving along Mustaffa
and going towards Boon Keng side.. on the right hand can see two outlets
side by side, that day pass by, saw few singers sitting outside...

Anyone ever been there, can provide the damage?
