May go there alone on june but hotels don't provide free airport transfer. Any cheap lobang in getting from airport to patong beach, by minibus or taxi?

Also from hotel back to airport, pre-book transfer from tour booth or just flag a cab on the road?

Well, it is cheaper to travel by minivan(shared) from airport to patong beach. I forget the price liao, but it is standard price. But be careful halfway through the journey, the driver will stop at a travel agency office and tell u to get off because they need to change vehicle. The travel agency staff will ask u nicely if u have booked your hotel. If not, they will recommend and ask u to buy hotel voucher which they claim is cheaper DO NOT fall for this trick. I nearly kena but escaped because I dont have thai baht

As for going back, u can pre-book a minvan/car from your hotel or any travel agency. The price will be higher but more safe because u wont miss your flight. Anyway even if u manage to get a cab, they will not use the meter

as you leave the arrival hall there is a limousine counter on your right. you can book a limo there for about 700bht to patong. as for return journey book from hotel is safest. bro havana right about minivans, they try to sell you everything from hotels to simon cabaret or fantasea!

Bro, U can try those dudes standing outside the taxi area holding flash cards and mumbling Teksi Teksi. For low season, I believe you can get a cab for 500baht, thats the lowest they can offer according to my cab driver.

For me, there were total 3 of us, and was quoted 650baht. His car was a honda jazz

And yea they will drop u off at the hotel.

One taxi man even tried to promote this Fantasia to me. Only when he flashed the flyer that I realized he was promoting this massage joint at Phuket Town and not the much talked about theme park. He also told me Fantasia got more young girls than Christine.

Stay in Phuket town for 2 nights. I was half drunk when I went to Kor Tor Mor but manage to get there at 23:30. The place is very lively on monday night. Beer cost 100 bath and there is no cover charge. After live local band, it start pumping hip hop music. There are lots of ladies there going in group from 2 people to many. I would said that some ladies are good looking but I don't think they are FL. I am sure it is easy to strike conversation with them. I did not speak thai and was not sure what to say to the ladies. However, i had good time with some guys there. I think thai are hospitable. KTM closed at around 01:00. My new thai friends brought me to this more local disco in a row of shop houses that also have 2 local brothels. This disco is even more packed with lots of local and also thai ladies coming in group. The joint also play hip hop and I would say this place is more fun than KTM. I think you need to learn a few thais to be able to sian the ladies.

I also notice that there 2 more pubs on the sides of KTM but did not explore them. WHile i was sitting outside smoking with my new thai friends, all the people were walking into KTM, not the other 2 joints.

BTW, one of the brothel is offering gal at 2500 which I am not interested. The name is "xxx residence". May be some senior bro here can enlighten the location. Was staying at Deevana and the standard room only costs $52 per nite. One of the 2 swimming pools were juz outside my room and service was great. U can book here at
Deevana Patong Resort & Spa last minute offers from: 1,200 THB from LateStays

The hotel is 10 mins walk to Patong Beach but rather far from the many restaurants and pubs near Soi Bangla. Do note tuks tuks there are ridiculously expensive. A mere 2-5 min ride costs 200 baht (arnd $10). Not much point bargaining as they dont negotiate and all drivers charge around the same.

Didn't try Christin's Massage as reports from samsters no good plus CO was with me all the time. However, after lunch one day she wanted to have massage and we ended up at a place called Wanda next to a Mexican restaurant ( shld be on Soi Kepsap, 200 Pee Ratuthit Rd., Patong Beach area if i am not wrong).

Co went in first and wanted a foot massage (downstairs), i was still having a smoke outside and whispered to the other masseuse that i wanted the young gal sitting on the floor reading the newspapers.As i was lead up to the partitioned 'cubicles' upstairs, CO told me to 'behave'. hiak hiak hiak... foot massage and thai body massage same price.. only 250 baht (S$12) for an hr. Baan rim Paa is highly acclaimed and very expensive but we felt the food is only so so. Give it a miss bros. You can get a few hjs from 'A' for that price!
