Was at 新地 a few times but dont really like the place. Unless you like to be 'high" cos it's a "high" 场。

There is an alternative. If you are alone and looking to join others at a reasonable price (assuming you are not heavy drinker), you can look for the Taiwanese Tour Guide. About 250-300 per head for drinking.

I am going to HKG next 2 weeks, and will make a short visit by bus to DG for first time, having read so much abt the action here.
However, am a bit confused abt whether I shd stay in DG, CA and CP.
Pls advise where u sifus usually stay and could bro Neverlandf or other veterans recommend a couple of nice hotels to book in advance.

and this heppen in our last trip .... the stranger complain abt the cost and he stole a bottle chivas when he left the ktv room ...

The minus point is that the girls there will see u as cheapskate because cannot order food, cannot order extra drinks..service in hotel later will be bad as they don't want to repeat such customer.
