This trip review is based on my own true encounter; you may not have the same view point as me.

*Do take note, my objective is for sharing the experience i have, some may said again that i am promoting the place again. Judge it for yourself.

I heard and saw this new hotel as being advertise so decided to give it a try for this trip. Stay over there for two nights

I am not sure you can get the vocheur at kaha, maybe someone can check it out. I personally think that the rates was quite ok and reasonable. Breakfast is also included

Advantages
- Room is big, clean and has nice ambience
-wifi is strong, will not get cut off easily
-aircon is strong
-a lot of socket for charging handphones
-nice lift, is cool and style
- safe deposit box

Disadvantages
-no in room massage service
-simple buffet style breakfast
-no fridge and blower
-no bathtub
-not easy access to other shopping center and bonking joints
-standing shower
-quiet in the night and also rather deserted


Summary
Hotel just about 3 min walk from the habourbay ferry terminal. It is a tall hotel with 11 storeys. All the room have same size. The hotel doesn’t not have a swimming pool and it has a small cafe. I stay at the 8th level as i can see a very nice sea view of the hotel. Another side would be able to have a nice view of batam.

The room came with a very nice n comfortable side sofa. You can fantasize making love looking at the sea view. How shiok it would be?

My rating
I would give an 8 out of 10 as overall i have a nice stay there. The reception is friendly and cheerful too.

Anybody has tried the suites in Da Vienna? Is the bath tub a large one for two? I can't guess from the photos. Only expensive suites have such bath tubs?
Any recommendation for a rooms with such bath facilities?

I don't exactly have a favourite or regular joint,but i do prefer licensed booking joints that has less business with less popularity,hehehe...since i already know the cultural trend of almost every one of them enough to secure a safe girl.

Its a different Dynasty99 as compared to the Dynasty99 beside Formosa Hotel. The one you see closer to Mcdonald existed in that location there before the one beside Formosa closed down. It is still newer than the one that has closed. As it is still considerably new and due to my travelling timing and pattern,i have no chance to visit it yet.

If you are still talking about Dynasty99,the one beside Formosa is closed. You are looking at a new place with the same name. Queens8933 opposite old Dynasty99 has also close down,but i heard it will be revamped into new entertainment business. Not too sure what its gonna be for now.

You gave a good suggestion. I always believe a picture speaks a thousand words too. Thats the reason why i plan to revamp the whole Oct Cheong List in 2016. And turn it to something like the Food List Format. Its going to be a big project involving tearing the cheong list apart,look thru this thread again and start searching for photos online as well as taking photos of my own.

1. Each booking joint will have to take up 1 post,with maps,photos and instruction on how to get there.

2. I have to watch out for breaching of this forum's rules & regulations during posting when i keyed in information like name cards,addresses,tel etc too.

3. There are about 11 official booking joints in Batam and numerous unofficial ones,hehehe....and i am only talking about licensed booking joints for now.

4. Let's not forget the Cheong list also contain KTVs,night clubs,disco,pubs and Masssage Shops stuffs where i need to start pulling them into different category one at a time.

Baby step a time,i think i might do it but i just want to take it in a more leisurely pace,not like its gonna be a task or job that i must complete it by X time or X date. Ultimately after its completion,everything including the food list,the basic Batam walk thru guide and the cheong list will be brought under 1 link free for everyone's reference so newbies will not end up like me when i 1st time go Batam.

2014 : Basic Batam Walk Through Guide

2015 : Batam Food List (Founder of Batam Cheong List was bro NewYorker,i think..i simply modify and update it whenever possible)

2016 : Batam Less Common Places of Interest (this is my priority for 2016)

The final and biggest ONGOING problem for me will be updating the content of the listings,hehehe...and i have to make it easy for myself to update it too.

Just take me as NATO (No Action,Talk Only) for now as i do not wish to feel overly committed to doing what i wish and like to do. If it becomes like a job commitment or a kind of routine,its going to be boring for me,hehehe...and by the way,i arent doing it alone. Lots of bro here like yourself who contributed to this thread positively has always been a big help to me. Thank you all.

There are but not for a few days. Given the days of stay , best bet is montego resort villas. Each villa has private pool but alas only 2 bedrooms. Got an open air rooftop for use too.

Yes nice place. You get a nice size terrance. Living area on level one , rooms on two and an open deck on the roof. Was there last week.

Bro blackpage hotel junior suite has jacuzzi that can fit two ppls but u need to run the water first as the water can be yellowish at first....one nite stay damaged is SGD $110 ...for Da Vienna junior suite bathtub only can fill one at at time..BBC hotel junior suite also has a jacuzzi that can fit two but no sure of the price....
