Yes, I do change in SG before going up and deposit my bahts in my local Thai bank accounts.

Now the afternoon rate have gone up to 24.00 bahts @ UOB Thai.

anyway, i think change in SG is better. for me, i change at Krabi airport at 22.5 baht for S$1. lucky i just change only $50 there. Ao Nang at 23 baht. Phuket at 24 baht. got ripped for a first timer to thailand. what a waste i didn't see this thread any earlier!
