err, i think they always like to give room in level 1 for transit, $30 somemore, so i avoid there at all cost.

H81 Chinatown and H81 Bencoolen is $30...
(Chinatown i rather go Cosy81 near Keong Saik Rd as H81 Chinatown near main road wait see familiar faces)
(H81 Bencoolen i usually give a miss and rather go Dickson or Rochor 81 more secluded as i will park my vehicle near sungei road carpark or Sim Lim as Bencoolen81 carpark is so obvious to people..or my fav is still Strand becoz in and out nobody will see

)

Fragrance Waterfront Pasir Panjang is $30, confirmed i went there a couple of times coz i stay in the west. Parking opposite is free too after 5pm! No complaints on $30 as rooms always available, brand new hotel..and well maintained.

Further more 四泉酒店 requires deposit, as if they provide 5 stars hotel toiletries in their bathroom. Don't really know what to steal in the room.

For this part, H81 is convenience, as long you don't go over the hour, just dump the key at the reception and walk off.

Heritage 81 also charge $30 transit.

I think they are on camera; thats why they always spread your change on the counter.

I have same the prob with you guys on Hotel 81 too. Thats y now I go to fragrance hotels. They dun require deposit and also becos I am a shareholder.

I did ask them.... they say all the while they are charging like this.... but i told them im the memeber.... they just keep quite.....

I think whether you are member or not the 2 hr fee is S$30 for H81 Chinatown, anyway this hotel is in my blacklist.

I just went to Hotel 81 Kovan. Got the same story. $20 - 2hr slot, $10 - registration.

At least I got a room on the 4th flr and not next to the lift.

Another trick Kovan likes to play is to charge you $10 for overshot....even for less than 5 mins. I go GL never kenna $10 extra even when overshot by 20 mins!!
