Just finished my last customer visit of the day, headache in this dusty and misty city in middle of China. After all, Shanghai still the best.......opps! Talking Rooster again.
May be we should be the one to start another new thread liao and let those able one put up recommendation. This is 上海滩。。。长江后浪推前浪。

Our Big Bro PTR not only appreciate tea, women....but also his habit of only drinking coffee without milk & sugar in KTV usually, do not consume beef, no high glucose content food or beverages for him most importantly.

Regarding this thread, you, shengge, and many others have helped to make it alive and interesting. We should not just let it go because of some brothers here who view this thread as an information gathering center, and start to demand that we restrict this thread to information provision just for him or them. If we pay attention to the content of this thread, we find a good mix of information, FRs, recounts of personal experience, and to a lesser extent, TCSS. You and shengge have been contributing a great deal to the information, even to the extent of providing road directory (Our lamp post, traffic light and light-house shengge) and your direction in helping brothers to relax and have a good time. I have said that I enjoyed and learnt a great deal from many of you, and in return, in my small and humble way, return the kindness of the contributing brothers with some of my real-life experience. I also realise that people who comment that this thread is full of TCSS are those who contribute little or none at all. Sigh...... Taker but no provider!! Flame me if you like or Zap me! I do not care much about the point anyway. I just need to maintain a positive in my rep point so that I can continue to CONTRIBUTE!

I am glad that you understand that this thread provides many useful information amongst other things. It is a Premier site on Shanghai from Singaporean who invested their time to share with fellow brothers.

There is nothing that one can get without effort, you want information, look for them. In addition, when a new brother poses a well defined and specific question, Bro SGPShanghai and shengge are usually the first two persons who jump in an help. However, if you ask question like "Any good recommendation to good and cheap KTV", then the answer is obvious!
We are all members of the thread but not information provider.

I intend to quote the whole posting of yours as they are really good but sad words. Reading such writing from you demoralises me. People nowaday are so realistic and demanding, thinking that just because we post here often, we should restrict to what they like to see.

To me, this thread is information gathering, sharing of experience, exchange of greeting, and a place to seek emotional support when one is down. I get a lot of relief from comments from brothers after having posted a sad encounters, and I also benefitted from many brothers here for their confidence in sharing precious information. In returns, in my small way, I posted what I have learnt.

Why should we give way to some demanding people for their inconsiderate comments. I am slightly younger than you, but boh lart to fight liao but leave it as it is and live by it.
