Was quoted RM2.28 for S$1 as of 1800 @ lucky plaza. At the mac downstairs turn left 1st money changer. Tat's the best i've heard so far.

Rate at woodlands causeway @1500 hrs RM$226. Sian liao can't go JB for shopping. Anyway, now school holiday custom jammed like mad. Better to go when school holiday is over.

cos RM peg with USD. now USD rising against SGD so results in lower RM we get in exchange for SGD. This trend seems set to continue. Now a bonk in jb cost abt SGD2-5 more compared with end april.
Now school holiday jam very bad as jam begin at ard noon cos malaysia cars allowed to come in free to sg. Better wait till school re-open in another 12 days then venture into malaysia when there is a smoother flow of traffic. need not waste time cos of jam.

Today rate at JB near custom and Holiday Plaza stay unchanged at S$100 to RM226.00.

don't know if this wil helps, but imle, i find the followng three places offer the best xchange rate;
lot 1 @cck, arcade and to my surprise, the changers at golden mile....

on 21/06/05 the rate is only RM225.60 for S$100 at 10pm across JB.

Sometimes I change in Bugis or Chinatown and the rate is better than JB. Seems like they know now is holiday season and they adjust the rate lower so that they can earn more.
