Re: ShangHai Recommendation - Homeland News
For all bros info purposes ;
Biometric passport will be introduced in Singapore on Aug 15 SINGAPORE: Biometric passports will be introduced in Singapore from mid-August to replace the current ones which are non-biometric, but the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority says there is no need to rush to convert the present non-biometric machine-readable passports to a BioPass, even if you're travelling to the United States. That is because the current machine-readable passports will continue to enjoy visa-free travel to the US up to 90 days, but these passports must still be valid for more than 6 months and have unused pages. Applications that reach ICA on and before 8th August will be treated as applications for non-biometric passports while those received after 8th August will be for the BioPass. Each bio-metric passport will cost $80. Singaporeans who apply through ICA's e-service, deposit boxes or via post will get a $10 rebate. According to ICA, on average, 100,000 pre-enlistee passport holders have their passports extended annually. To avoid this inconvenience and cost, MINDEF has decided to remove passports-controls for these NS-liable males and allow them to be issued with passports of full validity. This means pre-enlistee passport holders will no longer need to renew their passports once every 1 or 2 years. - CNA /dt

Re: ShangHai Recommendation - Rising Public Transportation Cost in Homeland!
Another saddening news after the recent taxi fares hike........how can anyone afford to travel anymore domestically in homeland...???
SMRT's decision to raise fares draws mixed reactions from public The SMRT's decision to raise bus and train fares have drawn mixed reactions from the public. Some say a small increase is justified but others questioned the decision, especially if the company is not making any losses. SMRT had announced plans to adjust fares for its MRT, LRT and bus services, citing increased diesel costs. But the public has mixed views on it - some were resigned to a fare increase but others were indignant. SMRT plans to submit its proposal to the Public Transport Council by the August 1 deadline. If approved, the fare increase could kick in as soon as October. - CNA /dt

Re: ShangHai Recommendation!
for brudders who seriously tinking of farking outta sgp permanently, i got a suggestion, but u gotta plan & budget well oso. i tink budget still lower than continue living in sgp in this condition.
buy or rent a property in ZhongShan or ZhuHai, it's not expensive there. A 3 bedroom condo in ZhongShan, about half hour from city centre, cost ard 230 k to 250 k RMB. anyway, ZhongShan is 90 minutes ferry ride from HK, it is oso 90 minutes bus to ZhuHai / Macau. so if u got visa / immigration deadline, can go either HK or Macau to stamp passport, then go back mainland for 14 days again. things are so much cheaper there. can think of setting up a small business there, like push cart or roadside stall, wanna tink of no license type (in sgp, it's called zao teh gu, 跑地牛, in hokkien) oso can. that type, can make $$ until nobody knows oso. wanna work harder, earn more, or work lesser, earn lesser & relax, up to you. as long as u dun hurt people (or get into unnecessary trouble & kena caught), probably u overstay there oso nobody knows. |

I didn't get any internet access for the past week so I just saw the above postings regarding the issue of ONS... I personally tried the Asia Friend Finder website and chatted with a few women over a few weeks (this is necessary to warm them up to you) before finally meeting 3 of them in 2004... 1st woman - I met her for coffee twice (both my treat) before she agreed to come over to my apartment (and the rest was SOP). She was a Shanghainese (but was born in other province) in her early 30's working in a managerial post. During our relationship together, she asked me for a few loans. Initially she paid up but subsequently she defaulted. Anyway it wasn't a big amount and I kinda got sick of her so I just stopped contacting her. Lesson learnt - Nothing is free. 2nd woman - I met her one night (after watching a stage performance) at Nanjing Rd after she knocked off from work. She's a pure Shanghainese in her mid 20's working in the creative field. She speaks good English and both her parents were working in the US. She stays alone in her own (yes, she owns it) apartment. I asked her where she wanted to go and she said anywhere so I suggested to my apartment and she agreed. So I paid for the taxi fare. After reaching my place, the rest was SOP. She had a Taiwanese boyfriend who was out of town. She was just feeling horny that night. Whenever we met, we would go to inexpensive places (such as fast food restaurants) and although most of the time, I paid for the meals, she would sometimes offer to pay too. Subsequently, we kept in touch and she'd make ocassional visits to my apartment whenever her boyfriend wasn't around but lately we don't contact each other much. Apparently, her boyfriend has stopped his frequent overseas business trips and is spending more time with her. Lesson learnt - I was damn lucky to meet the right girl (who's really not looking for a committed relationship with me and totally not interested in my money) at the right time and at the right place. Although it wasn't totally free, it wasn't high-maintenance either. 3rd woman - I don't want to talk about this girl (not that there's something shameful or embarrassing). It is something pleasant and I want to keep it my secret and also out of respect for her. I also managed to get to know 2 women from Shanghai Expat website in 2004. 1st woman - She was a Shanghainese in her mid 20's working for a Singapore company. Since many Singapore brothers are reading this and perhaps one of you could be her boss or colleague, I shall not say anymore about her. Anyway we met many times (I paid for the inexpensive meals most of the time or else we went dutch) before I finally got the chance to get physical with her. She's a virgin (and she still is) so there's a limit the intimacy can go as she had spelt the rules of physical engagement clearly to me. Once I tried to break (no pun intended) the rule and she got so mad at me! Now we stopped contacting each other except the routine "hi" and "bye" on MSN. 2nd woman - She was a housewife in her mid 30's with 2 kids. She's not Chinese - she's from another Asian country and perhaps her husband could be reading this - so again I shall not say anymore about her. We chatted online about issues foreigners faced living in Shanghai and slowly our topic moved towards the passionate. We met many times (all my treat - mostly mid-level restaurants) before we got physically intimate. I share my experiences with all brothers and I totally agree with the points some brothers have mentioned and I reiterate them again: 1) Nothing is free. There are investments (time, effort and money) involved. 2) You could get remotely lucky but it's just like striking Toto or 4D. Even if you strike, your gain might just be minimal because you might have invested lots of money in your previous bets (without winning) or you only win the consolation prize. But for those brothers who want to try their luck in seeking the thrill of netting a ONS via websites, here are some of my tips: 1) Look smart, clean-cut and be reasonably well-dressed... even if you think you look unattractive. First impression counts. 2) Be civilised and cultured... your status as a foreigner is already a bonus point so don't jeopardise yourself and most importantly, don't "sia suay" your country because most likely she already has the initial good impression of you and your country. 3) Do your homework, be prepared and armed... there are many ways to impress your lady via - a) Knowledge - get to know her better online before you meet her so you can chat about her interests, hobbies, current affairs, etc. You are virtually dead when you have no topic to chat about. b) Charisma - show your gentlemanly manners by greeting her with a handshake or namecard (if it's convenient for you) and offer to pull her chair out before she sits down. Speak reasonably good English (or Putonghua if she doesn't understand English) but preferably speak English with a Western accent. She'll be VERY impressed. Offer to pay for the meal or drink. Offer to walk her to the bus stop or Metro station or offer to send her home (if she allows). c) Talent - exhibit your forte but DON'T overdo it. If you're good at dancing, invite her to the dance floor. If you're good at singing, invite her to KTV. If you're good at just chit-chatting, equip yourself with some interesting life-stories or humour. If you don't know what your forte is, then just pick up some simple magic tricks (at Metro Town or Raffles City). 4) Be PATIENT. Don't behave like a lecher or a desperado. Chances are, a woman will be attracted to your inner beauty (knowledge, charisma, talent) first before she starts to reciprocrate. If the first encounter is fruitless, then you ask yourself if it's worth to pursue. If no, change target. If yes, invite her out again (after a few days - give her some break) and work on it. Here's are some tips to reduce your expenses: 1) Tell her because you're a foreigner, you're not used to eating Chinese or exotic food so suggest to meet in a fast food restaurant instead. 2) If she suggests going window shopping after eating, be on your guard. Chances are, she'll hint or tell you what she fancies to gauge your reaction (if you buy for her, you passed her test, else you failed). My solution: tell her I gotta go (think of some reasonable excuse). 3) If she orders expensive alcoholic drinks, tell her you're a non-alcoholic. Chances are, she wants to drink with you but since you told her you're a non-alcoholic, she'll probably drop the idea. 4) If you decide she's not your type and she asks you to send her home, tell her it's out of the way or you have another appointment. 5) If you decide you had enough of her and want to end the relationship, tell her you're leaving Shanghai for good (or think of other reasonable excuse). 6) Get another mobile number to be used specially for ONS pursuits. In case you want to end the relationship and she's the sticky type who doesn't let go, you can simply change another mobile number without affecting your personal life. Remember: when you meet women over the internet for the first time, use your judgement to gauge if she's the type for you and if she's genuinely not after your money. Most likely, she'd want to get to know you better (as a friend) and be comfortable with you before getting physical with you. But if you're thinking of meeting a woman for the first time and expecting to get a free fuck within the next 3 hours (even though I experienced this before), then you really need all the luck. So do exercise PATIENCE and CAUTION. Cheers, Shanghai Papa |

Like what bro SGPshanghai69 said, take a taxi there. If you want to be more adventurous, ask your concierge how to get there by public bus. They should be able to find out for you. I don't have the Shanghai map with me now so I can't look it up for you. As for the time it takes, depending on your mode of transport and whether it's peak or off-peak period, it should take about 30 minutes at most by taxi or within an hour by public bus (since both locations are in Pudong). Cheers, Shanghai Papa |

Re: ShangHai Recommendation!
ZY Bar has just emerged from renovations and has no zhaopai yet. It is the only possible bar there though (there's a Tiger Beer signage outside) and it's opposite a restaurant with the silly Merlion (would that be Crossroads?).
I went in and got a chatty woman Xiaohan, who got for me a Qingdao beer. BBBJ for RMB350 and a "full package" for RMB500. The BBBJ was very well done, and she was very patient (it took a long time for me to blow off my load). It was also the first time I experience a woman sucking on my cock even after I've blown...very wonderful experience. I didn't really notice (she might have executed a sleight of hand) but I believe she swallowed. All in all a very nice feeling. We chatted a while, with me fondling her tits and thighs, and she playing with my cock again. If I were to return to Shanghai again, I'll go for her again! |
