Hi Swinger,

The deluxe room in Grand Sheraton in Sukumvit Rd. got a small jacuzzi. It's also the only hotel I know that got a hifi and DVD player in the the room.

The price is around 3800baht per night.

Frankly, if my memory didn't fail me, i didn't really make used of the jacuzzi. Only my ex-gf used it. It's too small for two person to get in it at the same time.

To be sure please check with the hotel directly to confirm if they have rooms with a "big" jacuzzi in the room otherwise I think it's not worth the price just for it.

Another hotel which I think sure have a jacuzzi in the room is Banyan Tree BKK. It's the type of rooms and the price. You can be sure it's going to be quitecostly. Pls check with the hotel or travel agent.

Cheers

Re: Siam Beverly Hotel

Hi Bros, anyone had experience with this Siam Beverly Hotel at Ratchadapisek Road? I find the price quite compete with Regina Hotel. Any comments? Thanks.

Re: Siam Beverly Hotel

Bro,

never stayed in this hotel before, but heard its one of those hotel that SIA uses as well.

Location-wise is good as its right opposite all the MPs... Nataree, Emmanullem, Mei Hwa... and so on...

And now they have the new MRT station, Hwai kwang station (not sure about spelling).

Cheers!

Bunk in with a friend recently for a night enroute from CR to SG. Not too bad - I would say fair value for money. I would rate it better than Rachada City. Yes, the short walking distance to Hway Kwang is definitely an advantage.

if Call hotel direct, they will charge you walk-in rates which are much higher than those from travel agent and internet....

One internet site is http://www.precisionreservations.com
They quote in USD..for eg. for Siam Beverly, they quote USD19...have add abt USD4 and then multiply by exchange rate 38... abt 900b

Travel agent price is abt 300-600b above internet price....while hotel walk in rates is another few hundred baht above travel agent...

So better to call some of those travel agent or check internet sites for quick info

Talking Re: Hotels in Bangkok

ya loh... was calling d hotel direct n they are charging me ridiculous price (5000baht for tawana?.. pl~!)...

n i had 2 complain 2 bring it down....

was previously roughing it out in d local hotels but mi back realli can't take it anymore... so got 2 sleep in a betta hotel... kekeke.... anyway, gd fun....

but jz a question... which part of d town do u think it's d best 2 stay in for short fun?

for mi, i would like 2 stay anywhere near d skytrain (really can't do w/o it).... but mi preferred place is silom... yes, it's a beri touristry but i like d crowd n activities below... plus ez food ard there n u can tour patpong one rd b4 boarding d skytrain....

noticed dat food n stuff r generally more expensive in silom than anywhere else... e.g. a bowl of noodle cost 30baht in silom cost 10baht elsewhere... so it's ur pick on d hotels in bkk....

was hoping 2 get sum tourists there but no luck... nx x thinking of sumwhere 2 get student FLs instead... kekeke...
