Do i feel she has KC for TS? I believe so. If she not willing to leave after offered sum of money, clearly money is not everything - unless she is VERY experienced in this KC game (then again ... dunno how much TS offer ... maybe she broke down in tears cause so little ... ). Bro, felt compelled to comment on this part of your post. While it is true that there are some genuine hardship cases where the PRC WL comes over because of extreme poverty, I think it is the exception rather than the norm.

The more common reasons are as follows;

1. bought condo during the market boom in China but not enough money to service mortgage;

2. not content with working 16 hours a day in a factory but earning only RMB1,000 to RMB2,000 per month;

3. commission as a sales girl back home is not enough for her to buy that LV bag that she has been eyeing on for a long time;

4. got boyfriend back home who does nothing but eat, drink, smoke and gamble everyday, so doing this business in order to support the useless boyfriend;

5. to make a fast buck, so that she can have enough money to start a small boutique or beauty salon back home;

6. got dumped by useless boyfriend, no job, don't want to go home to till the land, nothing else to do so come here to work as WL.

There is one WL I know who was about to enter her final year at the University doing a degree in IT. She quit school to come here to work.
