Hi

Stay at this Gold Orchid booking from asiarooms...luckily no problem..
the hotel is new,and nice..the room is small.
and more singaporean style food in the cafe...

I'm thinking of staying in Swissotel Le Concorde (formally known as Merchant Court Hotel) at Ratchadapisek Rd. Is it a girl-friendly hotel? And is it a good hotel to stay in?

will like to share my experience at wattana mansion.. this happened abt a few weeks ago, i was there to pick up a friend and while waiting for him at the cafe downstairs, a group of singaporeans are yakking away loudly in hokkien and worst of all, disturbing the innocent young waitress who was very unfortuante in serving them..just wanna share my small point of view, when we travel abroad , we are tourists , lets not be proud and act as if its yr own kopitiam where u can talk loudly and act as a big F. and the poor waitress have to endured yr super unfriendly comments abt her looks etc and she dont even understand a single thing abt what u guys are talking, thats very uncalled for..
so guys , be a lil considerate pls.. people still have a work to do , they are not there for u to laugh at or ridiculed..

Merchant Court is only gf friendly if you booked as double when you check in. Else they will stop you and ask for additional payment. If you have intention to being someone back after 9PM, it is cheaper to check in as double than pay up later.

Having said that, if you bring a good looking GROs with proper attire you may get away with it.... but hard to find ah... unless you bring those high class part timer back from Pegasus, Poseidon or Champs Elys'ees.

yep, U will occasionally get these crude, rude low-IQ morons/ scumbags/ sleazebags/ shitheads/ dickheads who think they are higher grade humans than other nationalities. They behave as if their grandpa owns the place ...Maybe that is why Thais generally (I emphasise ..generally) like Japs, farangs more than South East Asians

that's rite...their info needs updating...for eg. Somerset and Baiyoke Sky are NOT gfrenly. Of 'cos if U can dodge the security, than U don't have to pay..

Hi, heard that JW Marriott and Sheraton Sukhumvit are gal friendly. Both are along the Sukhumvit road. Not si sure about the Westin though.

Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit is definitely girl friendly. I stayed there a couple of times and was never hassled by the security when I brought the girls back to my room.

Agree with that.
Although u hv to first take a lift to the lobby floor n pass thru the eyes of the front desk staff before getting to the lift to yr room, they always boh chap u.

A few other good hotels at Sukhumvit that are girl friendly are the President Solitaire at Soi 11 and President Park at Soi 24. They are 5 star hotels but price is more reasonable. The rooms are large (abt 40sqm at least) and are really suites. Prices are abt 2000 to 3000 per night.

Wat I know is that as long as they are international Hotels, they are ladies friendly.Surprisingly "Merchant Court aka Swissotel Le Concorde" is not.

PS at soi 11, very big..... 8 person orgy not really a problem. But make sure no 1 is drunk and no 1 is teaching....
