Re: Hotels in Bangkok
Hi guys,
I am going to BKK on 3 June, staying till 5 June. I am looking for a 4 star hotel along Sukhumvit Road between Soi 1 and Soi 10. Any bros can recommend? Have anyone stayed at Royal Benja Hotel at Soi 5 or Zenith Sukhumvit Hotel near Soi Nana? Are they good value for money (below 2000 Bht per night)? Are they lady guest-friendly? Anyone interested to join me on this cheong trip? Thanks |

Both of these hotels are not 4 star, also they are probably the most guest unfirendly places on sukhumvit. Joiner fees apply. Swiss Park have a few Executive rooms available at the moment. Price is 1840 Baht/night inc ABF for a twin/double. Totally guest friendly. There are other smaller hotels, but at 1840 Baht/night, you would like at least a swimming pool. Tim |

Re: Hotels in Bangkok
Thanks Tim, advise taken and much appreciated. Will check out Swiss. The 1840 BHT is net price right? Anymore VAT and extras whatsoever to add to it?
You are doing a great job here dishing out sound advise. Keep it up. Best regards |

Re: Hotels in Bangkok
I had stayed at the Watana Mansion last time in BKK, Any Bros know if there are similar priced places to stay in BKK . Only require place to be clean (GF will be nice but not a must) and close to easy transportation (subway station).
Thanks PT |

Re: Hotels in Bangkok
Hi Tim,
Went to Thaihoteldiscount website to check out Swiss Park Hotel at Soi 11. It is a 3 star hotel (don't mind though if it is good, clean, quiet and GF). Anyway what's the difference in terms of "bed" for the different categories: Superior single Superior twin/double Executive single Executive twin/double I only need one either "king sized" or "queen sized" bed, don't need swimming pool, no time for it. Prefer 4 star (or 3 star at least) under 2000 Bht so long as it is clean, reasonably quiet and GF, and between Soi 1 and Soi 11. Sorry for asking so many questions. Travelling on limited budget. Thanks |

That's ok. The more you ask, the more you find out. Superior single is for 1 person.23sqm Superior Twin/Double is for 2 people.23sqm Executive single for 1 person.28 sqm Executive Twin/Double is for 2 people. 28sqm Bed config is up to hotels availability. Swiss hotel should fulfil all your requirements. However if you would like a 4 star, Royal Ivory Nana is recommended. Cheaper too. Cheers Tim |

Grand Diamond offers very nice accomodation for money. It is near Pratunam and World Trade Centre. Also gust friendly if u book twin/double. Bangkok Palace is not so nice. Not guest friendly and joiners will be charged. If u can afford it, go for Grand Diamond. Cheers Tim |
