Just a note,Loy Krathong at Harbour Bay also closed down,hehehe...

I just notice that quite a handful of shops I went to all close down,but well....I enjoy going to places where their business isn't too good.

Better service,better deals...not to mention quality too.

I saw Indo locals selling it in the middle of a traffic junction just before Kepril Mall while on my way back from Batam's Hang Nadim airport,the thing is they were selling it in the middle of the road when the traffic light turn red,and i didnt have time to enquire about it (traffic light turns green and my vehicle has to move on).

PS : This umbrella hat is a good idea for people who likes to walk ,be it during a sunny or rainy weather,hehehe...

I will be looking for the above in my later trips...hehehe...its year end,rainy season....hehehe....imagine having to be at the mercy of taxi drivers,imagine getting caught in the rain on an ojek....hehehe...this cap should solve my problem.

I have found what i need in my everyday life in Batam....1st,i found my tissue box...it was a gift from my girl.

1st time i received gift from girl,so i guess i should show it off a little,hehehe... (there's also a 2nd gift too,i might just show it off again in my later summary)

...and later i was looking for some usb Internet modem which i found it 2 trips ago in Batam.

Cost 350k with 2 GB of free data and was given the option to top up 60k more to turn it to 30gb (usage for 30 days). DC Mall shops trying to sell me the same thing at 550k rupiah...i bought it at Nagoya Hill Mall. So i gathered that 1st hand item,Nagoya Hill is cheaper but accessories and 2nd hand pc parts,DC mall should be cheaper.

I am now looking for another brand of the same thing call Volt or was it Bolt? Not too sure,but i will keep looking as they are suppose to be sold in Indonesia. No installation,just plug in and use (can be use wirelessly,connecting to 99 devices too and 1 on wire).

The thing is 30gb isnt exactly full 30gb...their plan shows something like 18gb for regular use,few gbs for after midnight and another few gbs for some promo,all in adds up to be 30gb...i feel so cheated,hehehe...gimmicks!!

Subsequent top up of 300k rupiah gives me 30gb,and there is an Andromax sales counter booth at Nagoya Hill Mall basement where handphones were being sold too.

(no,she wasnt the girl i buy the device from)

So far the device is quite alright,meaning quite stable,but i was looking for unlimited version which Andromax couldnt provide. Unlimited means i wish to turn it on 24hours a day for 30days and yet be only paying for a certain fix price.

Anyway,i am just keeping tab here and researching.

Note : I have trouble talking to them due to language barrier,so my info collected were base on my limited understanding of what these sales person tells me.

I agree with you. I will go to Batam next December. Me too I wish to go to have a look at Nagoya Hill. I am afraid that, from now to December, lot of people, a crowd of people, will have had the same idea and the girl might be not so happy anymore to meet new people.
