Re: Hotels in Bangkok

thanks for the advice.

i'm deciding between Emerald and Palazzo now, on booking a double standard room. May i ask if the standard double room in both hotels come with bathtubs?

Am weighing cost, and other factors (minutes as they are) such as bathtub and swimming pool now

thanks!

Re: Hotels in Bangkok

Was at BKK tis mid July & stayed at Twin Towers.

Intiailly thought i had made a grave mistake staying too far away from my happening spots. However i feel pampered by the huge spacious room that was given to me, yup, a single room.

Wi-Fi in room is great, able to surf internet while in the bed.

Had checked out reviews from precisionreservations.com, nearly everyone complimented its huge spacious & clean room.

Oh...most importantly, although its a 4 stars, but if didnt rem wrongly, shld be only 60 bucks or lesser a day !

Bro, management at the hotel tell me that it may open on AUG 1st. howver not a firm date as everything has to be perfect before they open the new wing.

The new wing will have only 80 rooms, only Studio rooms and Studio Suite rooms. Some will have a bathtub, depending on the floor etc.

For Superior and Deluxe rooms, only the old wing will have these.

Re: Hotels in Bangkok

hi Tim,

i finally settled for Swiss Park Hotel near Nana BTS.

It's more central, and i didn't want to stay in Ratchada despite the obvious lure and the good reviews of Palazzo and Emerald. Booked through your site and wow, got the confirmation very fast and your staff Ann was also very good, called me from Thailand to confirm.

I might head down to Hua Hin or Pattaya. Any hotel around 1000-1500THB/night to recommend there?

thanks!

Bro Naj57,

Bro Naj57,

I would say that The City Beach hotel is your best bet. Needs booking up though. given its location and price, hard to beat. Guest Friendly if you book a Twin/Double.

All the best

Tim
Yes, got your booking Sat morning. Ann is pretty good, needs to improve her English.

Sure Swiss Park will be good, quite surprized that your room was confirmed as a very booked up hotel. We have bookings for December and jan already.

We may be more expensive than some, but our confirmation time is second to none.

Cheers

Thank you Tim

The City Beach is at Hua Hin, how about a recommendation for Pattaya?

Wow, didn't know Swiss Park is that hot Location was the key for me as i made the choice but it seems a pretty good hotel too for its rates despite certain minor gripes here and there.
