Cheap and good type...
The last time blur blur book Arnoma Hotel, quite nice but damn ex..
Location quite good, near to all major shopping centres and not far from most happening spots...
Swiss Park, Manhattan, Majestic Suites. Plenty to choose from. Let me know budget and will advise more.

I do not deserve the (dis)honourable mention hehe. As Timmy's customer niche is samsters, speaks for itself. So he gotta know singlish (err or is it samsterish?) to better fit customer needs...

Timmy, CPP was ok again last weekend, thanks. Quiet unit (facing Baiyoke side, my fave fengshui). CPP's conducive to spend all day in room for work (broadband), done this often. What's this thai hol 12/8 I hear about?

Btw, do you do Phuket (lazy to cehck your webbie)?

Hey man,

Glad to hear that. CPP is great for that, free internet is a massive plus, as other places really take advantage and charge guests extra. I think that is terrible.

Yep, do Phuket. How much per night are you intereested in, will check it out for you.

Cheers

Maybe u can advise how much are those hotels u mentioned, at least i got an idea how much it is going to cost.
My budget is around 1-1.5k Bht....
And another important info, must be able to bring ppl into my room for coffee or chit chat etc..
This is very important coz at Arnoma, they don't allow at all unless u book another room.... I was thinking WTF..
Expected arrival in BKK around 24th Aug..
Hope the above info will be of help.
Thanks in advance...

Exciter101,

Know what you mean. You need a guest friendly hotel with no bull s... from staff.

Swiss Park is 1166 Thai Baht/night inc ABF. Needs advance booking. Has swimming pool.

Re: Hotels in Bangkok

Book a room in bossotel and was very impress with their rooms. Seems like newly renovated with small gym room and swimming pool on the fourth floor. Went to the spa and got myself a mub body massage for 1000baht. No joiner fees for the gals you bring in. Price was a decent Sin $44 with bath tub even for a standard room.

However, it was a bit out of the place from where the action is. Skytrain is only few minutes walk away and silom is nearby.Good for those with family. Shangrila is around the corner and also the boat station.

Wanted to get a room from samster thaihotel but got the bossotel in the very last min. Anyway thank you for the prompt reply and will get it from you for my next trip.

Chow Dee Krup.

Hi Tim.
Can u advise on the rate for Majestic Suites? I've stayed a couple of times few years back... nice small hotel with very nice clean room. Love it.
I think I paid around 1,500THB last time for a normal room.
Oh, also is there any parking space for Majestic Suites? Seens like no cos its along side the main Sukhumvit road?
Thanks.

Re: Hotels in Bangkok

Can try bangkok boutique. It's at the petchaburi end of Asoke. Near the MRT station. If you wanna cheong at hway kwang, it's just a train ride away, very near. Amsterdam (supposedly top end bath house) also just a turn away.

Bangkok boutique is a boutique hotel and the rooms are not big but very nicely decorated. No pool nothing but super girl friendly. Staff is good too. Got parking and convenient.
