ICA is not like before .....

the last time i went to extend my wife for a month, it took me 6days before it was done.

day 1 - submission
day 2 - collection but requested for cpf, income tax, etc
- told them it was a normal extension and not long term pass
- counter say sorry and ask me come back later
day 3 - counter say officer still wants documents so i submit
day 4 - collection but say my wife need to have her fingerprints done
day 5 - wife went to have her finger print done
day 6 - finally collected passport and realise that they make big mistake.

my wife was extended under reasons that she have submitted for long-term pass which was not my intention till her return this trip. this is because i got a letter from them stating that i still need to submit additional documents for the long term pass application.

best of all, i wrote a letter during my wife's application stating that i do not wish to do so but they force my hand .....

Thats the new system and guide line they lay out this year...
like it or not....LPPL...esp u & me sailing on the same saigon boat...keke.
well... no matter how difficult or hard on applying visa etc,,,,
i will keep trying too...there is no U turn...
unless one thinking of " vo tan " the relationship on the time being right?
infact i was in one of the pubs ard blue region last sat with my bxa for a short drink together and observe the surrounding had changed quite a bit becos i last stepped in was almost more than 3 months back....cool...
do pop me an sms if wana kopi cos now got 14days of free man before my viet queen back again...hehe

bro i understand your frustration in getting visa for your partner. I was involved in helping others get either their visa or pr previously. u know what work i was involved with rite? it used to be thai partner, then indo then china and now vietnam.

no matter how ica changes the rules and regulations, one thing still dun change, that is, the persistency of the applicants. try to think of new and innovating reasons, even simpethetic reasons in your application. come to think of it, i got some experience in this even tho i no viet wife...haha...

1) will she be send back immediately or till her last day of visa?

1) ICA will take a few days to investigate...after that will send her back....not till her last day of visa

2) heard before dont know ban for 3 yrs and cannot come back....dont know that is for repeated offender or even 1st timer....forget already...u can read thru the forum sure can find answer

u got the right samster (Sha_Gua75) to answer those questions...its correct.
many newbie samsters chonging JC encounter those problem when they fell in love with the viet gal but kana "toto" and send back....rest is history..
