Alo...Sunday had been quiet for donkey years and not recently...unless Monday is public holiday...anyone smart or free shall visit non-peak period...

Day 2 part2 on the way to Water fall
After Breakfast switch to My regular room in Gabion and wait for motor.
(Rp10k for 24Hrs)

Set off for water fall at noon.
(fucking hot)
On the way break at PN Mall quick lunch

and pickup some drinks and food for picnic.

Passed by the INDOOR STADIUM junction

and then the boundary for Pongkar.

Datuk Kong 1. Near tickets counter

Ticket Rp2k only

After 10minutes slow claims
The waterfall

Further up is another Datok kong Temple. This one is more famous....

Have a dip.
Enjoy the tranquility.
Hv some food and drink then back to hotel.

Day 2 part4 cheap dinner at coastal area
Go Pasar malam to look for my fishhead otah. Old anunty still not there.
So dicided to go costal area.
To my surprise it's quite happening.
Near the round about

Table setup along coast bank

Ordered Ayam panyat + basok

And sate with
sate clamp(not so common)

Dine in the environment surroundings by sea breeze for about Rp60k where to find.

After dinner found this sea food restaurants,

I was caving for the boxing shrimp that I have years ago from Selat Panjang.
I ask if they have.
They said, they might have and need confirmation.
So I decided to return next night.

I used to give tat amt to Rizal....staff of Gabion. I borrowed his bike. But tat was many years back. He no longer with Gabion. In fact he dont want my money. I help him alot. He also gave me handful of lobang. FLs.

Day 3 Morning Market walk
After Breakfast proceed to the central Market to look for 珍珠花菜 that can only find in 1 stall that the owner planted.(it he been no stock in Panuin for 3 month) But the daughter said all plant have died.

Look like I need to take a trip to Tg. Pinang.

This market (Pasar Puan Maimum)
consist of 2 buildings link by a bridge
The main building for food the other for no food items like clothing, shoe.....

Main building

1st floor fish, chicken, meat

2nd floor vegetable

3rd floor cooked food stalls.

Chatting with a coffee shop owner at the ruko beside the market... found out that the developer of GoldCoast had invited TBK shop oweners about a weeks ago to invest on them. He told me that event was quite grand. Most of them are just enjoying the food but took the attitude of WAIT AND SEE...

He show me the price list..
IIRC a 2 storey ruko cost just about 250J but the corner one double as 500J.??

Late morning proceeds north west for the Pantai Pelawan (Pelawan beach).
Some how missed a turn and hit this End of road at Pangke village(Desa Pangke)

supposed to do a right turn here at the junction when see this K2 mart....

After making a big detours around a site that processing granite/sand, arrived at the Gentry

here's the Price list

but there were no one collecting

No bikini but Love

And Banana boat

As I observed the vendors store at beach front still look good....

that means... this is one of a good outing place for the local.

Am first time going to Balai I n 2 weeks time
Me and my buddy gonna try out as we always go to Batam only

I am totally nuts and clueless as to how things are in Balai

Any kind soul can enlighten me or post some advice pls
