Beware of lai52852888 aka a si qian. she/he had shift from Bukit Batok to Tampines near Tampines mall. Cuteboy77 had post the update on 2nd September in a thread "Becafeful SCAM at Bukit Batok using WeChat.

I also encounter one. I told them i stay boon lay. Then they say they stay jurong west. These ah tiong damn stupid one. They look at mrt line then select the nearest to you. Knn noobs.

Avoid those FL contacts in WECHAT or MEOW or MOMO if possible. very high chance they are scams. those established OKT websites in SBF should be credible, esp those which have been around for some time.

chatted with girl, asked to take photo of location, and asked someone to call me with china tone to ask me buy some cards. So troublesome and therefore so fishy so said not meeting up.
Guy immediately starts threatening since I am not meeting, then they have my number so if they check , they may tracing my home and workplace. Refusing to let me psycho me further, I hanged up. Repeat calling a few times using private number.

Managed to make me scared though I realized that it is those con job. These threatening of your information is really effective for people who do not know that these scams and threatening are done so many times each day to singaporeans.

Felt better after finding these countless examples here.

Judging from the huge amount being cheated reported from the news and judging from myself who is quite a steady person and yet felt scared after his threatening, I can imagine how many people will

CONTINUE to be fell for these scams after today.

The fact is that their threatening is working well to some extent. That is why they keep doing it over and over again. Yes, many people here are wise and these scammers who meet people here will fail.

However, they have the experience that it works after a certain amount of people.
The first victim are those who just buy those cards without thinking.
The second group of victim , maybe a large group, are those who buy after they have been threatened.

Not many people can recall the news report of the scam. Not many people read forums like these. When people are being threatened and they feel fear that workplace and family will find out, they usually become very easy pickings for these scammers.

Its good that victims come here to encourage people to keep sharing because these scammers are indeed low until cannot low.

So I think people will continue to fall for these tricks and scammers will continue these templates. Best is to share it with you family members cos they will then be protected but problem is, its hard to talk about these things with family members.

My advice for people who feared about being traced and having the reputation or family affected is to be willing to admit your wrongdoings even if they really traced you, which they won't after reading these threads.

Otherwise, one will end up like those people who keep getting their money sucked over and over because these scammers know some people will keep giving up their money when they keep threatening them.

My opinion, they can't really trace you and don't have the resources. They would rather find their next scam prey.

I don't even respond to these scams or troll them. Saying things like i was unable to return to my domain after the custom closed their gates last year. So i am looking for a person to help me out until the next time the gate opens.

Or i simply say "you are very beautiful must have had a lot of customers. Come, lend me 10k"

I found one Taiwanese FL on Wechat. At first I thought it was a scam but I tried to proceed as her apartment is nearby to my office. Service top notch!

They cant do much. They think they can scare u into believing they will post your photos in internet or look for u to hurt u. Reality is they are more careful as anything posted up can be traced.
