Was recommended to try Amari Atrium by a travel agent and it only cost like $60 per night with breakfast. Good? Supposed to be 4 star hotel as well. Located along Petchburi Rd, is that like near the entertainment places like Poisedon?

not that near not that far, u've got to take a cab if u want to go to ratchada-where poisedon is

Thanks bro, think that i will go for it. Saw the map and understand what you mean. But look at the websites like zuji and asiatravel and the price (which includes tax and stuff) seems really cheap plus breakfast provided. Anyhow, at the most come back hotel dun go out liao... stay in room and do the nasty...heh heh...

Now got promotion:
Special Promotion 3 Day Package Only 2,200 Baht, including:

Now is that a good deal?

3days stay will only set u back by 1500,difference of 700 is quite alot taking into account that taxi to n fro is only 250 (someone correct me if i'm wrong) that leaves 450 for internet n breakfast...if u need to use internet n don't like to wonder around for breakfast(120 for 3 days-hawker food) then u can go for the package lor

for choice of MPs its still ratchada hands down. you get MPs like plaza and mona lisa in petchaburi area. another famous spot in the area is siam hotel... lots of FLs after 1am.

Which discos are more "happening"? As in frequented by young Thai people in the vicinity of hotels Palazzo, D'ma Pavilion, or even in Ratchada.

Is there a weekday crowd or weekend crowd only?

Sad to say, i think Watana food is overly priced by extra of 5 baht-10 baht. Maybe I have been staying in BKK for quite some while, but for that price, I rather pay lesser and eat at Carrefour ratchada and yet the food taste better, portions bigger. and at the same time some eye candy as well sitting at the food court.

Internet like fuck, tiam tiam hang. Earn so much money still don't apply for ADSL.

I don't know whether it's "happening" (bec. I can hardly be described as "happening" myself) or not but I stepped in into Sparks at the corner of Emerald Hotel recently and saw a lot of people having a good time there - definitely lots of E-enhanced ravers partying here. Saw a lot of what seems to be Thai Chinese in here as well.

This was on a Sat night.
