hmm...the hotel sounds familiar, maybe have pass it but didnt realise. is it near some fish tank? anyway, wouldnt be going back soon. have tons of work waiting for me to get back at.

The last time I stayed there about 2 yrs back, it wasn't. Argued with the security but in the end still have to pay 500B for bringing the girl back to the room. So it's now girl friendly already?

Can try Palazzo at bht1200 or sin about $50.Room was clean and really value for $$$.Surronded by arp nam like mirage, nataree...good location.Definitely gal friendly cos i bring back no problemo.

FYI, i stayed AMARI Atrium/watergate/boulevard.. all amari group hotels are not gal friendly so..i guess it wouldn't make much diff in your case..

oh btw the baraber shop at amari watergate (pratunam=watergate) got good service chio bu..but very $$$

Me stayed there few times already a solid 4 star hotel.I think the best around that area.Booked at $140 per night thru local travel agent.For shopping with wifey good place to stay cos all around walking distance but if going to cheong I think staying at ratchada or suk will be better.

i usually ask my Thai counterpart to book they have corporate rate..so mostly in Thai baht price..

good hotel .. the best location for action (for me) and sometimes you may slip the guard is Amari Atrium.... near RCA..Ratchada..

While I was there didn't see any chio ones maybe wrong time.So went to chao phraya(walking distance) to de-stress!
