this was the issue i m facing last time before my cut as my HR definitely will questioned me y take long mc and that time was my company financial year end. yes I m doing accounts...
luckily that time around Xmas time and I just take a day leaves + mc for 2 days during that period.

Contemplating circumcision here, do Singapore doctors know about the various style of circumcision like high vs low, tight vs loose? Also my goal for circumcision is for aesthetic reason, not really functional as I can pull my foreskin back.

If I want to retain most sensitivity which cut is best?

Hey bro,

In my experience the doctors in singapore know the styles. If its for aesthetic reasons and you want to retain sensitivity, high and tight would be best. Disadvantage would be possibility of a "two-tone" look, but advantage is retain more inner foreskin(the sensitive areas). Actually if its purely for aesthetic, maybe you might want to reconsider carefully as not everyone appreciates the cut look?

Sharing my Experience in brief and keeping this thread alive, must give back community, shall not touch on doctors and nurses.

Cost/location: 1k+, location, clinic central part of sg.

Pain meter (PMR) : 1-10, 10 being excruciating pain, 1 being almost nothing.

I got a high and loose cut as the doc recommend that it allows room for erection. Got a fat ring collar around the head after the op and it sure looks sad with the stitches on.

Friday 12 July - Day 1 (pain meter: 6-8.5 overall)
Already made appt for a laser op. Basically i got no problem with pulling back, just for hygiene and removing excess foreskin. As spoken, the first few needles to numb the area is bearable (PMR-6) and goes the same for the stitches towards the end. Surprisingly the showering off from the aftermath wasnt pain, guess still numb. The real pain (PMR-8.5) is after when the anesthetic wears off 2 hours from then. Given cream and medicine to consume. 1 week MC, extendable.

Day 2 (Pain meter: 5/10 overall)
No underwear worn, just shorts with inner linen. Hassle is the peeing part, got to be careful and apply cream each time. Challenge to shower too, as prefer to scoop water to run over it then use shower head. Pain goes down a fair bit since day 1. Went back for review, overall ok normal just still swollen. Morning erection hit PMR-6.5.

Day 3( Pain meter: 3/10 overall)
Feeling much better although didi still swollen, but slowly recovering. morning erection hit PMR-6.5 again, got to concentrate to cool it off.

today day 4: (pain meter: 3/10 overall)
Finished another review, doc says its all good and posed to remove stitches in another 5 days. Again, morning erection is the worst, PMR-7. Threatening to go full erect before i managed to cool it off at 5am in the morning. Swell gone down abit more but still tender to touch. Probably need another 3-4 days before it goes off.

Conclusion: Get lotsa rest as walking will aggravate the swell. Wear loose shorts esp at night to allow ventilation and speedy recovery (recommended by doc) Sleep alot as that's when body repairs the tissues.


Shall update again once stitches gone.

Just an update:

Day 5: recovery stage, still swell on left side where a vein runs along. restrict movement and its fine. right side, top side, and underside recovering well.

Day 6 (today): finished review, doc says everything looks normal. still some swell on left side where its not yet gone away. Sometimes itch here and there, but nurse says that signs of recovery. Removing stitches this Saturday.

i think at least another 1-2 weeks before i dare return to action.

Day 7: Time flies, already 1 week. but looks like will take a while before back to action. current recovery status, i supposed its 53%.

I was planing to circumcision.. but I dun know is it help.. I can pull back my foreskin without any problem, when erect there is no problem too .. just that when when I having intercourse I can't last long enough to make my partner orgasms .. as my foreskin cover the glans most of the time..

Dunno if I circumsision will help to improve ..

Fraser007: bro that is a very detailed progress! Hope it recovers fast!

CrossM: hi bro, circumcision is not a solution for premature ejeculation... Yes ur head becomes slightly less sensitive but I doubt it solves this problem. Check out ways to prolong ur ejeculation or u can pleasure ur girl first b4 give her a poke.

Bros if possible share pics too. Would help each other with the recovery =)
