As my girl have reached, i decided not to wait. After seeing this thread, i know i was being tricked. Damn fuck up. Next time i shall use TS method. Thanks for the alert.

Personally I think that if you walk in together with your FL, the reception surely know you are eager for room, given this opportunity, they will try to con you for extra $10. I think they won't dare to con you when are customers around the reception, so that's why they usually ask customer to leave contact and come back when room is ready. If I have been ask to pay for $30 room, I would expect that it's a bigger and nicer room. So I normally walk in alone by myself to get the room, and usually is $20.

Share a bit of info on Cosy81. Heard from the FL I took that one floor is having reno at the moment. So most prob, it's short of rooms($20). If really need cheaper room maybe can go in say 30 min before to book.(Depend on luck)

unless u can physically see d customers waiting at d lobby...eg. weekends or public holidays...from what i notice if no one is waiting or i or 2 couples waiting only..if they say half n hour usually 5 to 10 mins will call u already...it helps if u stand near d counter a look at them... (results may vary)

With regards to the waiting time, I think usually they will say a longer waiting time so that in case sway sway, the room not ready, less likely to tio gan by the customer. What I experience, when they say 1/2 hr, its usually 15 mins, and 45 mins its usually around 20+ or 1/2 hr.
As for them pulling in the extra charges stunt, I think its pretty common, cos I also got kenna once from the Kovan branch before.. Tell me public holiday +$10. So lan lan pay and go. Then recently went to another H81 Branch, but never kenna the public holiday thingy... Then read from here that, no public holiday surcharge thingy.
I think the reason why they pull stunts like that is they know that, most ppl who comes to H81, will not want to be seen, so the longer you linger at the counter, the higher your chances of being seen by someone you may know. So they know, most customer will not want to make a scene or drag too long at the counter. So whatever stunt they can pull, they pull lor.
Thats what I think lah.. Just my 2 cent of self-assumption.

Haha, Bro KevinJacob, you might wanna book a room for overnight and then try to try all the FLs on your list or rtf, in this case, make it more worthwhile. haha

Does Kovan81 now still charge $20 per room for 2hrs OR $30 per room for 2hrs?

Can anyone help to clarify?
